Installation

Fasten the Tilting Display Mount to a Wall

Warnings! The Display Mount - Portrait is designed to be installed on a wood stud, solid concrete, or cinder block wall. The wall structure should be capable of supporting at least four times the weight of the mounted equipment. The Mounting Hardware (Mounting Screws and Concrete Anchors) included with this product may not be adequate for installation on certain wall structures. Contact a construction professional to install the Display Mount - Portrait. Failure to do so may result in personal injury and/or equipment damage.

The Display Mount - Portrait is intended for indoor use only and should not be used outdoors.

Extension Bracket Installation

1. Slide the Extension Bracket over the Display Mounting Bracket and align the 4 Screw Holes in the Display Mounting Bracket with the 4 Screw Holes in the Extension Bracket. (Figure 1)
2. Insert 4 Extension Bracket Screws - M6 x 6 mm through the Extension Bracket and into the Display Mounting Bracket.
3. Use the Phillips Head Screwdriver to tighten the 4 Extension Bracket Screws - M6 x 6 mm.

Adjust the Tilt Angle

1. Determine the desired viewing angle for the TV.

2. Use the table below to determine a Tilt Pin Hole alignment that matches the desired viewing angle.

Viewing Angle Tilt Pin Hole Alignment
0°	With the Display Mounting Brackets standing upright, align the Upper Tilt Pin Holes.
5°	With the Display Mounting Brackets tilted slightly forward, align the Lower Tilt Pin Holes.
10°	With the Display Mounting Brackets tilted all the way forward, align the Upper Tilt Pin Holes.

1. Insert a Tilt Pin into the Tilt Pin Hole on the side of the Display Mounting Bracket. (Figure 2)

1. Repeat step 3 for the second Tilt Pin.

Attach the Display Mounting Brackets to a TV

1. Place your TV on a padded surface, screen side down, so that you can access the back of the TV.
2. (Optional) Identify and remove the pre-installed VESA Hardware from the back of the TV.

Note: Not all TVs will have placeholder VESA Hardware. Ensure you are only removing the four Screws for the VESA Mount. Do not remove any of the screws from your TV's structural assembly.

1. (Optional) Place a Round Washer and the necessary number of Short and/or Long Spacers over each VESA Mounting Hole. Use the Spacer Combination Table to determine the number of Spacers for the application. (Figure 3)

1. Place the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies (Display Mounting Brackets and Extension Brackets), parallel to one another, on the back of the TV over the VESA Mounting Holes. The arrows on the Display Mounting Brackets should be pointing towards the side of the TV that is intended to be the top when the TV is in the portrait position.

1. Place the four Rectangular Washers onto the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies. Align the holes in the Rectangular Washers with the VESA Mounting Holes. (Figure 4)

Note: Each Rectangular Washer features two holes. Select the hole that fits the M-Type Screws.

1. Thread the appropriately sized M-Type Screws (ex. M5 x 14 mm Screws) through the Rectangular Washers, Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies, (Optional) Spacers, and into your TV.

1. Tighten the M-Type Screws with the Phillips Head Screwdriver, until each Screw is flush with the surface of the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies.

Warning! Do not over-tighten the M-Type Screws. If you encounter any unexpected resistance as you are fastening these Screws, immediately stop and attempt to use a different length of M-Type Screw.

Hang the TV on the Wall Plate

1. Loosen the 2 Screws, located at the bottom of the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies, with the Phillips Head Screwdriver. (Figure 5)

1. With two people: lift and hang the TV onto the Wall Plate.
   Tip: Align the top hooks of the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies with the top rails of the Wall Plate.
2. Tighten the 2 Screws in the bottom of the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies using the Phillips Head Screwdriver.

(Optional) Security Bar Installation

1. Slide the Security Bar through the slots at the base of the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies. (Figure 6)

Operation

Micro Height Adjustment

Note: The Levers have a ratchet feature. Freely rotate the Levers, without engaging the tightening mechanisms, by pulling them up and rotating them to the desired position.

Push the Levers down and rotate them to engage the tightening mechanisms.

Rotate the Levers on the Display Mounting Bracket Assemblies Clockwise to raise the height of the TV and Counterclockwise to lower the TV. The Levers have to be rotated evenly so that the height setting is the same on both sides. (Figure 8)
