How do I pair my GPX BCA209 speaker with Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker by pressing the power button. The Bluetooth indicator will start flashing. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select 'GPX BCA209' from the list. Once connected, the indicator will stay solid.

How do I charge the speaker?

Use the included USB-C cable to connect the speaker to a USB power adapter (5V, 1A). The LED will turn red while charging and green when fully charged. Charging takes about 3 hours.

Can I use the speaker while it's charging?

Yes, you can use the speaker while it's plugged into a power source. However, to preserve battery health, it is recommended to fully charge before first use and avoid frequent charging interruptions.

How do I clean the speaker?

Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water. The speaker is splash-proof (IPX5) but not waterproof, so avoid submerging it.

Why is the speaker not turning on?

First, ensure the battery is charged. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. If it still doesn't turn on, connect to a charger and try again. If the issue persists, reset the speaker by holding the reset hole with a paperclip for 5 seconds.

How do I adjust the volume?

Use the volume up and volume down buttons on the speaker. You can also adjust volume from your connected device. Note that the speaker volume and device volume are independent.

Can I connect two speakers together?

This model does not support multi-speaker pairing. For stereo sound, consider connecting via AUX cable to a stereo system.

What is the Bluetooth range?

The Bluetooth range is up to 33 feet (10 meters) in open space. Walls and obstacles may reduce the range.

How do I use the AUX input?

Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from your device to the AUX port on the speaker. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Use the device to control playback.

The sound is distorted. What should I do?

Lower the volume on your device and on the speaker. Check that the audio source is not clipped. Move the speaker away from walls or corners to reduce bass interference. If using Bluetooth, ensure no other devices are interfering.

Audio Functions

Loading and Playing a CD

1. Lift open the CD door and place a CD in the player, label side facing up.
2. Close the CD door.
3. Slide the Source Switch to CD mode.
4. Press the Play/Pause button to begin playing the loaded disc.

Programming a CD

1. Press the Stop button to stop a loaded CD.
2. Press the Program button. "P01" will blink on the display.
3. Press the Skip Fwd/Rev buttons to select a track.
4. Press the Program button to add the selected track to the program.
5. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to program up to 20 tracks to play in a specified order.
6. Press the Play button to begin the program.
7. Press the Stop button to cancel the program.

Aux In

Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the Aux In on the unit and the audio output/headphone jack on an audio device.
2. Adjust the Source Switch switch to CD (Aux).
3. Use the controls on the connected device to select and play audio.

Playing a Cassette Tape

1. Adjust the Source Switch switch to Tape.
2. Open the Cassette Door, insert a cassette tape, and close the Cassette Door.
3. Use the cassette controls to play, pause, rewind, and fast forward audio from the cassette.
4. Turn the Volume dial to turn adjust the volume.

Recording Audio to a Cassette Tape

1. Open the Cassette Door, insert a cassette tape, and close the Cassette Door. Make sure the tape is not write protected before beginning a recording.
2. Adjust the Source Switch switch to one of the other settings (FM/AM/CD).
3. While playing from the Source, press the Record button. Audio from the Source will be copied to the tape.

AM/FM Radio

To Improve FM radio reception, adjust the position of the telescopic antenna. To improve AM radio reception, adjust the position of the unit.

1. Adjust the Source Switch switch to FM or AM.
2. Adjust the Tuning dial to tune the radio to the desired frequency.
3. Turn the Volume dial to turn on the radio and adjust to the desired volume.
