Frequently Asked Questions - OH11 N'oveen

How do I turn on the N'oveen OH11 heater?
Plug the heater into a grounded outlet. Rotate the thermostat knob to the desired temperature, then select the power setting (Low, High, or Fan Only) using the mode switch.
What is the difference between Low and High heat settings?
Low setting uses 1000 W for gentle warmth, while High uses 2000 W for faster heating. The Fan Only setting circulates air without heat.
Does the heater have an automatic shutoff?
Yes, it has overheat protection and a tip-over switch that turns off the heater if it is knocked over or overheats.
How do I clean the OH11 heater?
Turn off and unplug the heater. Wait for it to cool. Use a vacuum or soft brush to clean the air intake grille. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
No, the N'oveen OH11 is not rated for bathroom use. It is designed for dry indoor areas only to avoid electric shock.
Why does the heater sometimes turn off by itself?
This could be due to overheating (e.g., blocked air intake) or the tip-over switch being activated. Ensure the heater is on a flat, stable surface and that air vents are unobstructed.
How do I store the heater when not in use?
Allow the heater to cool completely. Wrap the power cord around the cord wrap. Store in a cool, dry place away from dust and direct sunlight.
Is the OH11 energy efficient?
It has an adjustable thermostat that helps maintain a set temperature, reducing energy consumption. For best efficiency, use the Low setting and avoid overheating the room.
What is the noise level of this heater?
On Low setting, the fan operates at approximately 45 dB, similar to a quiet conversation. On High, it may be slightly louder but still acceptable for most rooms.
Can I replace the power cord if damaged?
The power cord is not user-replaceable. If damaged, contact N'oveen customer service or a qualified technician for repair to ensure safety.
