Care Guide for your Granite Sink

Our sinks put design and high performance at the centre of your kitchen. They are manufactured to the highest standards, with stone-like quality material.
Formed from approximately 80% quartz and 20% acrylic/colour; the sink is non-porous, enduring, and has a high-quality velvet look and feel.
CARE AND CLEANING
To maintain the optimum condition; after use, always wipe the sink with warm, soapy water and a cloth. Ensure it is dry afterwards.
This will maintain the removal of general, everyday dirt from your sink.
In hard water areas; over time, limescale deposits can build up on the sink. The limescale can become strongly coloured by liquids such as coffee and red wine etc. We recommend the use of lemon juice or vinegar to remove this. Simply apply, leave for a few minutes, then wipe with a cloth or Magic Eraser and rinse away with water. Dry the sink afterwards. This will help to prevent the build-up of limescale which may be left on the sink surface as water evaporates.
RECOMMENDATIONS
To reduce the risk of accidental damage, we recommend the use of baskets and chopping boards.
Do not pour strong chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, caustic soda, white spirit and sterilising solutions into the sink. If this does occur, quickly remove and rinse well with water.
Avoid placing hot pans and trays directly onto the sink surface. We recommend using a trivet or pot stand to help prevent any damage.
We do not recommend the use of a plastic washing up bowl, as particles of grit which may be impregnated in the base of the bowl could scratch the surface of the sink.
We do not recommend chopping food directly on the sink surface. This can cause damage. Wooden chopping boards are available for this purpose.
Avoid dropping sharp or heavy objects onto the sink as this may cause the surface to chip or crack. Leaving neat bleach in the sink can cause damage to all types of sinks. If neat bleach should come into contact with this product, rinse thoroughly with warm, soapy water.
This product is for domestic use only.
