Frequently Asked Questions - INFINITY V-035B VAX

How do I fill the water tank?
Remove the water tank from the unit, open the cap, fill with tap water up to the MAX line, then replace the tank securely. Use the provided funnel for easy filling.
Can I use distilled water in the Vax INFINITY V-035B?
Yes, distilled or demineralized water is recommended to reduce limescale buildup, but regular tap water is acceptable in most areas. Mixing tap water with distilled water is also fine.
How long does it take to heat up?
The steam cleaner typically heats up in about 30 seconds. The ready indicator light will turn on when steam is available.
What accessories are included and what are they for?
The unit comes with a floor mop head for hard floors, a squeegee for glass, a small brush for grout and crevices, and a funnel. Additional accessories may be purchased separately.
How do I descale the steam cleaner?
Mix a solution of white vinegar and water (1:3) or use a commercial descaling agent. Fill the tank, heat, and steam as usual. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Perform descaling every 2-3 months.
The steam output is weak. What could be wrong?
First, check if the water tank is empty. If full, descale the unit to remove limescale blockage. Also ensure the nozzle or attachments are not clogged. Refer to manual for troubleshooting.
Can I use cleaning chemicals in the steam cleaner?
No, do not add any cleaning agents, perfumes, or chemicals to the water. Only water or a descaling solution is safe. Chemicals can damage the unit and void the warranty.
How do I clean the accessories?
Let accessories cool down, then rinse them under warm water. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners or put them in the dishwasher unless specified.
Is there an auto shut-off feature?
Yes, the Vax INFINITY V-035B automatically shuts off when the water tank is empty to prevent overheating. Wait for the unit to cool before refilling.
Where can I find spare parts or the manual?
Spare parts are available on the Vax official website or authorized retailers. The user manual can be downloaded for free from notice-facile.com or the Vax support page.
