2. RS422 Control Software

  1. Connect your PC's RS422 port to MVS-8, Power Up the unit and launch the PC software "MVS8_Controls.exe" which is available for download at www.ospreyvideo.com

  1. In Com Settings, select the serial interface, click the Open button to open the serial port.
  2. Choose the monitor you want to control.
  3. The following settings can be changed:

(1) Brightness control
(2) Contrast control
(3) Time code switch
(4) Level meter function switch
(5) UMD switch function. Enables the user to add text overlay to each display up to 32 half-width characters. Click the Data Send button to apply the setting.
