Frequently Asked Questions - SK90 SWAN

How does the SK90 pest repeller work?
The SK90 emits high-frequency ultrasonic waves that are irritating to pests like rodents and insects, driving them away without chemicals. The frequency varies automatically to prevent adaptation.
Is the device safe for pets?
Most pets like dogs and cats are unaffected. However, it may disturb small rodents like hamsters; keep away from their enclosures. Always monitor pet behavior.
How long does it take to see results?
Initial effects can be noticed within 1-2 weeks, but it may take up to 4 weeks for full effectiveness. Use continuously for best results.
Can I use multiple SK90 units in the same house?
Yes, you can use several units to cover larger areas. Avoid placing them in the same room to prevent overlapping frequencies; space them out.
Does the device work through walls?
Ultrasonic waves are blocked by solid objects. The SK90 is effective in open spaces; for multiple rooms, use one unit per room.
Are there any side effects for humans?
Ultrasonic waves at this frequency are generally inaudible to humans. Some people may hear a faint sound; if bothersome, place the device further away.
How to install the SK90?
Simply plug the SK90 directly into a wall socket (preferably 30-50 cm above floor). Ensure the device is upright and not obstructed by furniture.
What maintenance is required?
Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth occasionally to remove dust. Do not use water or cleaning agents. The device is maintenance-free internally.
What is the warranty period?
The Swan SK90 comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your purchase receipt for claims.
Can the device be repaired if it stops working?
The SK90 is not user-serviceable. If faulty, contact Swan customer service or an authorized repair center. Do not open the unit.
