Why is the record skipping or sounding distorted?

How do I change the speed from 33 to 45 RPM?

Locate the speed selector switch near the platter. Slide it to the desired setting: 33 for LP, 45 for singles, 78 for older records. Make sure the turntable is stopped before switching speeds.

Can I replace the stylus (needle), and how?

Yes, the stylus is replaceable. Turn off the turntable. Gently pull the old stylus straight out from the cartridge. Insert the new stylus (model NP-6) until it clicks into place. Do not touch the needle tip.

How do I clean the turntable and stylus?

For the exterior, use a dry microfiber cloth. To clean the stylus, use a soft brush (included or separate) in a back-to-front motion. For the records, use a carbon fiber brush or cleaning solution. Never use liquids on the turntable components.

Does this turntable play 78 RPM records?

Yes, the RSD3 Mini supports 78 RPM. Use the speed selector to choose 78. Note that 78 RPM records often require a special stylus (not included). The standard stylus may cause damage; consider purchasing a 78 RPM stylus if playing regularly.

Why is there no sound from the built-in speakers?

Check that the volume knob is turned up and not at minimum. Ensure the turntable is not in Bluetooth speaker mode (if connected to external audio, internal speakers may mute). Verify that batteries are not depleted if using battery power.

Can I connect external speakers via RCA?

Yes, the turntable has RCA line out jacks. Connect to powered speakers or an amplifier using RCA cables (not included). Note that the internal speakers will remain active unless you plug into the headphone jack (which mutes them).

How do I replace the belt?

If the turntable spins slowly or not at all, the belt may be loose. Open the bottom cover (remove screws). Slip the old belt off the motor pulley and platter. Stretch new belt around the platter and then loop over the motor pulley. Ensure proper tension.

Turntable Operation

1. Place the record on the turntable. Use the Record Adapter if necessary.
2. Rotate the On/Off Volume Knob to turn on the power.
3. Remove the stylus protector from the stylus assembly.
   Note: To avoid stylus damage, make certain the included stylus guard is in place whenever the turntable is being moved or cleaned.
4. Lift tonearm from the tonearm rest.
   Note: When the turntable is not in use, remember to secure it to the tonearm rest.
5. Move the tonearm over the record to desired starting point, and gently lower tonearm onto record.
6. When the record is finished playing, lift tonearm, and return it to the Tonearm Rest.
7. Push the tonearm into the tonearm rest.

Aux Output Connection

You can connect speakers to this unit and play your music through your speakers. To do this, connect the 3.5mm auxiliary cable between your active speakers and the Headphone/Aux Out Jack of this unit and start playing the music.

Pitch Control

The turntable speed can be increased or decreased by approximately 10% by pushing the Pitch Control up or down. To increase the speed, push the Pitch Control up. To decrease the speed, push the Pitch Control down.

1. Gently pull down the front edge of the needle.
2. Pull needle forward.
3. Pull out and remove.

Installing Needle

1. Position the needle with its tip facing down.
2. Line up the back of the needle with the cartridge.
3. Insert the needle with its front end at a downward angle and gently lift the front of the needle upward until it snaps into place.
