Can I use the Sonos Roam Wireless Charger with other devices?

It is designed specifically for the Sonos Roam. While it uses Qi technology, other devices may not align properly or charge at full speed.

What does a red LED on the charger mean?

A red LED indicates a foreign metal object or an internal fault. Remove the device, check for obstructions, and if the light persists, contact Sonos support.

How should I clean the wireless charger?

Clean only with a dry soft cloth. Do not use household cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surface.

What is the charging speed of this charger?

It provides a maximum output of 5W, which is standard for Qi wireless charging.

BLE Advertising Timing and Interval

The BLE radio shall not transmit any packets when no device is receiving power from the wireless charger. The BLE radio shall begin transmitting advertising packets within 1 second of a device placed on the wireless charger. The BLE radio shall stop transmitting 60 seconds +/- 1 seconds after a device is placed on the wireless charger. The BLE radio shall transmit advertising packets at a frequency of 2 Hz.
