How do I clean the water dispenser?

Unplug the device. Remove the water tank and drip tray. Wash them with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. For descaling, use a vinegar solution (1:3 ratio) and run through the system. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Allow all parts to dry before reassembly.

Why is the water not heating?

Check if the power cord is properly plugged in and the hot water switch is on. Ensure the water level is above the minimum mark. If the issue persists, the heating element may be faulty; contact customer service.

How often should I descale the dispenser?

Descaling every 3 months is recommended to prevent mineral buildup and maintain efficiency. Use a descaling solution or a mixture of vinegar and water.

Can I use bottled water or tap water?

Yes, you can use either. Ensure tap water is filtered or boiled if concerns about quality. The dispenser is designed for both.

What does the child lock function do?

The child lock prevents accidental dispensing of hot water. Activate it by pressing the lock button for 3 seconds. A lock icon will appear. To disable, press again for 3 seconds.

How do I change the water bottle?

Lift the top cover, remove the empty bottle, and place a new one upside down on the probe. Wait for water to fill the tank. Discard the first glass of water to ensure freshness.

Why is the water dispensing slowly?

Check if the air vent on the bottle is blocked. Ensure the water tank is not empty. Clean the faucet nozzle. If the issue continues, the pump may need servicing.

Is the dispenser noisy?

Normal operating sounds include a gurgling noise from water flow and a soft hum from the compressor. If loud rattling occurs, place the dispenser on a level surface and check for loose parts.

How do I adjust the water temperature?

The hot water temperature is preset and not adjustable. Cold water temperature can be adjusted via a thermostat dial (if available) located at the back of the unit. Refer to the manual for specific instructions.

Thank you for selecting Gree water dispenser. Please read this instruction manual carefully before operation and operate the product according to this manual strictly. Please keep the instruction manual well for future reference.

SAFETY NOTICE

1. The unit shall be placed in a dry place stably without exposing it to direct sunlight. When operating, place it appropriately with a minimum distance of 20cm to wall and avoid tilting. Keep the bottom of the unit free from any plastic foam, paper, etc.

Never place the unit near anything inflammable. Please install one piece of supplied support plate to the back of unit base to keep the water dispenser stable.

1. First connect power and turn on the power switch. Press the child lock button and push the hot water tap until there is water flowing out. Then you may turn on the heating switch. Otherwise, components may get burned. Please remember this!

2. Do NOT wipe the unit with petrol. Never spray water to the unit.

3. This unit is applicable for pure water and mineral water in containers. If mineral water is applied, it is expected to remove scale and clean the water dispenser regularly.

1. When operating, unit must be properly grounded and use a reliable leakage protection switch.

1. Do NOT turn the unit on or off by inserting or pulling out the power plug. Do NOT extend the power cord in length, or it may lead to fire hazard.

1. Disconnect the corresponding switch to save energy when the water is not to be cooled or heated.

1. When the water dispenser won't be used for along period of time, please pull out the power plug and drain the residual water through the water outlet.

2. NOTE: This unit is applicable for drinking water contained in a 5-gallon container. Tap water is not allowed. Unit is applicable in places where the temperature is 10^ 43^ and relative humidity is no more than 90% . This unit is not applicable outdoors or in places with splashing water. When the environment is lower than the critical temperature and the pipelines are blocked by ice, please eliminate the ice before using the water dispenser.

3. If the supply cord and other parts are damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
4. Do not invert the unit when moving it. The tilting angle shall be within 45^ , otherwise unit may be damaged or cause accidents.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
7. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as

PRODUCT FUNCTIONS

1. This unit, beautiful, deluxe and elegant, is endowed with low noise and energy-saving functions as well as long service life. Its hot-water cylinder is made of food-use stainless steel, safe and healthy.
2. This unit adopts dual protection against dry-burning, safer for operation.
3. This unit is with large water volume to meet your needs all day, such as tea or coffee making.
4. By adopting energy-saving technology, this unit gives larger water output with higher energy efficiency.
5. Child lock function is included in this model to prevent scald.

1. Remove the label and plastic bag of the bottle, as well as the protective label on the water outlet.

2. Open unit's lower gate and install the water bottle airtight cover on the water bottle. Then place it inside the lower gate. Connect power and turn on the power switch. At this time power indicator will be on and unit starts working. Press the child lock button and push the hot water tap until there is water flowing out. Then you may turn on the heating switch.

3. Turn on the cooling or heating switch and the corresponding indicator will be on.

4. The LED lights will display corresponding status when water dispenser is working: If water is heated to unit's rated temperature, heating indicator will be off. If water is cooled down to the rated temperature, the cooling indicator will be off. In case unit is lack of water, the low water indicator will blink while buzzer will go off for 1min.

5. HOW TO GET HOT WATER: Hold the child lock down with one hand, take a cup with the other hand and push the hot water tap with the cup. HOW TO GET COLD/WARM WATER: Rotate the Water Selection Knob to the left side to get warm water; rotate it reversely to get cold water. If the knob can't be rotated during rotation, it means the knob is rotated to its limit and only warm water or cold water is released. Mixed water will be released in other position.

6. After water is used up, disconnect power first. Then draw the used bottle out horizontally and remove the airtight cover. Follow step 1 concerning the new water bottle and install the airtight cover assembly on it. Push it inside the lower gate and connect power. Unit will start working again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE (Cleaning is not covered by the warranty)

Disconnect the power supply for the unit before performing the operations below, or accident may occur.

1. New machine has been sterilized before ex-factory. It is recommended to let water flow through the faucets from the bubble top to clean the machine when it is to be used for the first time.
2. Please use special disinfectant and detergent to clean the water dispenser. Generally, it is recommended to disinfect and clean the water dispenser once per 3 months (subject to its working environment) and to remove scale once per 6 months (subject to the application of mineral water). Please follow the operating instruction manual of disinfection and detergent for the method of disinfection, cleaning and scale-removing.
3. Daily-use non-friction neutral detergents are applicable for cleaning the surface. Make sure water does not get into the unit. Users are not allowed to dismantle the unit by themselves, otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
4. When unit won't be used for a long time, please disinfect and clean it at first. Then store it after the residual water is drained out to prevent the growth of bacteria. Unit shall be drained as below: Press the child lock button and push the hot and cold water taps one by one to drain out the water. Finally open the water outlet on unit's back. Close the water outlet after water is drained out. (NOTE: Mind the hot water drained out of the hot water cylinder.)

TROUBLESHOOTING

It is normal performance and please feel free to use it if the unit performs as below during operation:

1. In heating process, heating tube may give out slight noise.
2. In case the hot water cylinder is heating when lacking water, the device for protection against dry-burning will cut off which needs to be manually reset by a professional technician rather than reset automatically. This is designed in accordance with the national requirements on safety.
3. It may take more time to cool the water when the ambient temperature gets higher.
