How do I clean the German Pool DH-310 humidifier?

Unplug the unit and empty the water tank. Use a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent to wipe the exterior. For descaling, fill the tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1) and let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly before use.

What type of water should I use?

Use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup. Tap water may cause white dust and scale deposits.

Why is there no mist coming out?

Check if the water tank is filled. Ensure the unit is on a level surface and the water level is above the minimum mark. If the transducer is dirty, clean it with a soft brush.

How often should I replace the filter?

The demineralization cartridge should be replaced every 2-3 months depending on water hardness. Check the condition regularly.

Can I use essential oils in this humidifier?

No, the DH-310 is not designed for essential oils. Adding oils may damage the unit and void the warranty.

What is the recommended humidity level?

Maintain indoor relative humidity between 40% and 60% for comfort and health. Use a hygrometer to monitor.

How do I store the humidifier when not in use?

Empty and dry the water tank completely. Clean the unit and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

The unit is making a loud noise. What should I do?

Loud noise may indicate low water level or a dirty transducer. Refill the tank and clean the transducer. If the noise persists, contact customer support.

Is the humidifier safe to use around children and pets?

Yes, it is safe when used according to instructions. Place it on a stable surface out of reach of children to avoid tipping.

Where can I get spare parts?

Please read these instructions and warranty information carefully before use and keep them handy for future reference.

For safety purpose, you should read the instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time. Save the instructions for future reference.

The appliance is designed for domestic use and may only be installed and operated in accordance with these instructions for use.

1. Unplug the power supply cord before cleaning or storage.
2. Do not immerse the unit in water, or place it close to water.
3. Do not put the unit close to heat-generating devices or near flammable and dangerous materials.
4. Never put your fingers or any stick-form objects into the air inlet or outlet grille.
5. Do not sit or stand on the unit.
6. Discard water collected in the tank as instructed.
7. Install drain piping at a downward direction to make sure that condensed water can be drained continuously.
8. Place and operate the unit on a stable and level floor.
9. Do not spray or splash water directly onto the unit.
10. Do not spray any pesticide nor flammable liquid onto the unit.
11. Do not place any heavy object or let children and pets sit on the unit.
12. Do not operate dehumidifier in a small and confined space.
13. Damaged power cord must be replaced by a licensed technician.
14. Maintain the below minimum clearance around the dehumidifier during operation:

Body

• Press the button once to start operation with the default low fan speed.
• Press it again to stop the operation.
• The green Power indicator will light up when the unit is plugged in, regardless of whether the unit is in operation or not.

Fan Speed Button

• Press to set the desired fan speed. It can be adjusted between high speed and low speed.
• The right Fan Speed indicator will light up in green when the unit is set to run in low fan speed. The left Fan Speed indicator will light up in red when you program the unit to run in high fan speed.

Tank Full Indicator

- The Tank Full indicator will light up in red when the water tank is full. If light is on, empty the water out of the water tank and make sure the tank is returned to its position properly.

B. 基本操作步驟

1. 啟動

When the unit is plugged in, a buzzer will beep and the unit will be set to run at low fan speed by default. Press ⏻ button to start operation.

2. Set Fan Speed

Press 🤒 button to set the desired fan speed between high and low.

3. Stop Operation

Press ⏻ button again to stop the operation.

Note:

• Never stop the unit by unplugging the power cord.
• When the ambient temperature is between 5^irc C and 12^irc C, the unit will pause every 30 min to defrost automatically.
• When the ambient temperature is between 12^irc C and 20^irc C, the unit will pause every 45 min to defrost automatically.
• When the ambient temperature is between 20^irc C and 35^irc C, auto-defrost will not be activated.

C. 水箱排水

When the water tank is full, the Tank Full indicator will light up, the operation will stop automatically. A buzzer will beep 15 times to alert the user to empty the water from the water tank.

將水箱放回原位，水滿指示燈即會熄滅。

Return water tank to its original position. The Tank Full indicator will go off.

註：

• Do not remove the float from the water tank. The water full sensor will no longer be able to detect the water level correctly without the float and water may leak from the water tank.
• If the water tank is dirty, wash it with cold or lukewarm water. Do not use detergent, scouring pads, chemically treated dust cloths, gasoline, benzene, thinner, or other solvents, as these can scratch and damage the tank and cause water leakage.
• When replacing the water tank, press the tank firmly into place with both hands. If the tank is not positioned properly, the "Tank Full" sensor will still be activated, and the dehumidifier will not operate.

持續性排水

The unit features a continuous drainage port. Connect a plastic hose (with an inner diameter of 9mm) to the continuous drainage port for draining water in the tank continuously.

B. Cleaning the Filter

1. Pull up to remove the air filter.

2. Cleaning: Run a vacuum cleaner lightly over the surface of air filter to remove dirt. If the air filter is exceptionally dirty, wash it with warm water and a mild cleanser and dry thoroughly.

3. Insert the filter into the unit smoothly.

C. Dehumidifier Storage

When the unit is not being used for a long time and you want to store it, please follow the steps below:

1. Empty any water left in the water tank.

2. Fold up the power supply cord and put it in the water tank.

3. Clean the air filter.

4. Store in a cool and dry place.
