Frequently Asked Questions - DW66IX NORDMENDE

How do I reset my Nordmende DW66IX dishwasher?
To reset, press and hold the Start button for 3 seconds until the display shows '0'. Close the door and select a new program.
What should I do if the dishwasher doesn't start?
Check that the door is properly closed, the power cord is plugged in, and the water supply is on. Also ensure the child lock is not activated.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter after every 10-15 washes to prevent clogging. Remove it, rinse under running water, and reinsert.
Why is there standing water at the bottom of the dishwasher?
This could be due to a blocked filter or drain hose. Clean the filter and check the drain hose for kinks or clogs.
Can I use regular dish soap in my dishwasher?
No, only use dishwasher detergent (tablets, powder, or gel). Regular dish soap creates excess foam and may cause damage.
How do I enable the child lock?
Press and hold the Option button for 5 seconds until a lock icon appears on the display. To disable, repeat the process.
What does the error code 'E1' mean?
Error E1 indicates a water supply issue. Check if the water tap is open and the inlet hose is not blocked.
How much salt and rinse aid should I add?
Fill the salt reservoir until full (approximately 1 kg) and set the hardness level according to your water. For rinse aid, fill to the 'max' line in the dispenser.
Why are my dishes not drying properly?
Ensure you use a rinse aid and select a program with drying features. Also avoid overloading and leave the door slightly open after the cycle.
Where can I find spare parts for the DW66IX?
Contact Nordmende customer service or visit authorized dealers. Spare parts are available for up to 10 years after purchase.

DETERGENT

1.9. Using combined detergents

These products should be used according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Never put combined detergents into the interior section or the cutlery basket.

Combined detergents contain not only the detergent but also rinse-aid, salt replacement substances and additional components depending on the combination.

We recommend you do not use combined detergents in short programmes.

Please use powder detergents in such programmes.

If you encounter problems when using combined detergents, please contact the detergent manufacturer.

When you stop using combined detergents, make sure that water hardness and rinse aid settings are set to correct level.

1.10. Rinse-aid usage

Rinse-aid makes dishes sparkle and helps them to dry without spotting. Rinse-aid is required for stain-free utensils and clear glasses. Use only rinse-aid for domestic dishwashers.

1.11. Filling the rinse-aid and setting

To fill the rinse aid compartment, open the rinse-aid compartment cap. Fill the compartment with rinse aid to the MAX level and then close the cap. Be careful not to overfill the rinse aid compartment and wipe up any spills.
