How do I assemble the blender?

Place the jug on the motor base, align the locking mechanism, and twist clockwise until it clicks. Attach the lid and measuring cap.

What is the maximum capacity for blending hot liquids?

Do not blend hot liquids above 60°C. Allow liquids to cool before blending to avoid pressure buildup.

How do I clean the blender?

Remove the jug and lid. Wash them in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base.

The blender is not turning on. What should I check?

Ensure the jug is properly locked onto the base. Check that the power cord is plugged in and the socket is working. If it still doesn't turn on, contact support.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, use the pulse function for short bursts. Do not overload the jug; add ice gradually with liquid.

The blades are dull. Can they be replaced?

The blade assembly is not user-serviceable. If blades become dull, contact Swan customer service for assistance.

What safety features does the blender have?

The blender has a safety lock that prevents operation unless the jug is properly attached. It also features non-slip feet for stability.

How long can I run the blender continuously?

Do not run the blender for more than 1 minute continuously. Allow it to cool down for at least 2 minutes between cycles.

Can I blend nuts or seeds?

Yes, but ensure they are not too hard and add liquid. Use short pulses to avoid overheating.

What do I do if the jug leaks?

Check that the sealing ring is properly fitted and not damaged. If the jug is cracked, replace it. Contact Swan for spare parts.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - RETAIN FOR FUTURE USE

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

• Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds mains voltage in your home
- Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance cause injury to the user.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified person in order to electrical hazard.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR MIXER

BEFORE USE

Remove all packaging. Wash the bowl and accessories in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• Press head release button, ease the mixer head backwards until it locks into its tilt position. (Fig. 1)
• Select the desired attachment depending on the mixing task to be performed:

A. Egg whisk for whisking cream, egg whites, light batters.

B. Spatula beater for smaller amount of mixture or for folding ingredients.

C. Dough hook for kneading dough and heavy mixtures.

• Attach the selected attachment onto the drive outlet using the bayonet attachment. Place the attachment into position with the feeder roll at the back. Simply push the roller back down to lock into position.(Fig. 2)
• Put your ingredients into the mixing bowl. Place the bowl on the base then gently rotate the bowl in a clockwise direction until it locks into position. The bowl should feel firm with no movement.(Fig. 3)
  • Do not overfill the appliance, the max amount for ingredients is 2 Kg.
• Press the release button to lower the arm. Press the arm down to lock in the lowest position.(Fig. 4)
• Connect the device to a properly installed 220-240V\~50Hz wall outlet. Turn the speed control knob clockwise to commence mixing. [Fig. 5]
• When mixing is complete, turn the speed control knob anti-clockwise to OFF position .(Fig. 6)
• To protect the powerful motor, the maximum mixing time for this product is 5 minutes. It is unlikely that any type of food would require any more mixing time than that. In the unlikely event that your ingredients need more than 5 minutes mixing, switch off the machine and allow the motor to cool for 3 minutes before starting again.

CLEANING

• Disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning.
• Do not submerge the appliance in water. This may lead to electric shock or fire.
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Motor housing: Clean the housing only with a damp cloth and a squirt of washing-up liquid.
• Mixing bowl, kneading and mixing attachments: The attachments are not suitable for dishwasher. Heat and aggressive cleaning agents may warp or discolour the attachments.
• Parts which have come into contact with food can be rinsed out with water
• Leave the parts to dry properly before re-assembling the appliance.
