Place an empty container on the scale, then press the TARE button to reset the display to zero. Add ingredients and the net weight will be shown.

The scale has a graduation of 1 g (0.1 oz) and is accurate within ±1 g for most measurements.

What type of batteries does it use and how long do they last?

It uses 2 x AAA batteries. Under normal use, they last approximately 6 months.

Can I weigh liquids directly on the platform?

Yes, but use a container. For ml and fl.oz modes, the scale assumes the liquid is water or milk.

How do I clean the scale?

Wipe the platform and body with a soft damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.

Does the scale have an automatic shut-off?

Yes, it turns off automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity to save battery.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The maximum capacity is 5 kg (11 lb). Do not exceed this limit.

How can I reset the scale if it malfunctions?

All Morphy Richards products are individually tested before leaving the factory. In the unlikely event of any appliance proving to be faulty within 28 days of purchase, it should be returned to the place of purchase for it to be replaced.

If the fault develops after 28 days and withing 12 months of original purchase, you should contact the Helpline number quoting the Model number and the Serial number on the product, or write to Morphy Richards at the address shown.

You may be asked to return a copy of proof of purchase.

Subject to the exclusions set out below (see Exclusions) the faulty appliance will then be repaired or replaced during the 1 year guarantee period, the guarantee on the new item will be calculated from original purchase date. Therefore it is vital to retain your original till receipt or invoice to indicate the date of initial purchase.

To qualify for the 1 year guarantee, the appliance must have been used according to the instructions supplied. For example, crumb trays should have been emptied regularly.

8 Batteries and damage from leakage are not covered by the guarantee.
