How do I turn on the Axis C2005 speaker?

Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds until you hear a startup sound or see the LED indicator light up.

How do I pair the speaker with my phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker, it will enter pairing mode automatically. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings, search for 'Axis C2005' and select it. If prompted, enter PIN 0000.

What should I do if the speaker does not connect?

Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (LED blinks rapidly). Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on. Also, make sure no other device is connected. Reset the speaker if needed.

How can I reset the Axis C2005 speaker?

TheAutoSpeakerTestmustbecalibratedduringfirsttimeusefromitsmountedpositionattheinstallationsite.Ifthespeakeris movedorifitslocalsurroundingschange,forexample,ifawallisbuiltorremoved,thespeakershouldbere-calibrated.

UseNATtraversalwhentheAxisproductisconnectedtothenetworkbehindaNATrouterorfirewalldevice.

Without SIP-specific port forwarding, users of clients within the same private network would be able to talk to each other but users of clients in different networks would not.

ICEincreaseshechancesoffindingthemostefficientpathtosuccessfulcommunicationbetweenpeerdevices.IfyoualsoenableSTUNandTURN,youimprovethelICEprotocol'schancesoffindingthemostefficientpathtosuccessfulcommunication.

SessionTraversalUtilitiesforNAT(STUN)

SessionTraversalUtilitiesforNAT(STUN)isaclient-servernetworkprotocolthatenablestheproducttoaskaSTUNserverontheInternetforamappedpublicIPaddress.TheSTUNserverresponseincludesthisIPaddressandportsothattheclientcanusetheminitsSIPmessagestotherhostsandclients.

LikeTURN, STUNcanbeusedinfull-cone, address-restrictedcone, and port-restrictedcone NAT setups. STUNisfast because it is lightweight. However, STUN does not allow incoming messages from symmetric NATs, and it cannot communicate with a peer behind the same NAT device.

TraversalUsingRelaysaroundNAT(TURN)

TraversalUsingRelaysaroundNAT(TURN)isaclient-servernetworkprotocolthatenablestheproducttoaskaTURNserverforarelayedIPaddress.TheTURNserverrespondswithitsIPaddressandportsothattheclientcanusetheminitsSIPmessages.

TURNisprimarilyusedinsymmetricNATsetups.LikeSTUN,TURNcanalsobeusedinfull-cone,address-restrictedcone,and port-restrictedconeNATsetups.ButbecausethelPaddressandportprovidedbytheTURNserverarethoseoftheTURNserver itself,itworkslikearelaythatforwardsinformationtoandfromtheclient.ThismeansthatwhileTURNserversarereliable, theysometimescauseabitoflatency.

IPv4AddressConfiguration

Bydefault,theAxisproductissettouseIPv4(IPversion4)andtoobtaintheIPaddressautomaticallyviaDHCP.TheIPv4settingsare configuredunderSystemOptions>Network>TCP/IP>Basic.

DHCP(DynamicHostConfigurationProtocol) allows network administrator stocentrally manage and automate the assignment of IP addresses. DHCP should only be enabled if using dynamicIP address notification, or if the DHCP can update a DNS server. It is then possible to access the Axis product by name (hostname).

If DHCP is enabled and the product cannot be accessed, run AXISIPUtility to search then network for connected Axis products, or reset the product that factory default settings (see page 34) and perform then installation again.

Link-LocalAddress enabled default and assign the Axiproduct additionaladdress which can be used to access the product from other host sonthesamesegment on the local network. The product can have a Link-LocalIPandastic or DHCP-suppliedIPaddressatthesametime.

This function can be disabled under System Options Network TCP/IP Advanced.

HTTP

The HTTP port used by the Axisproduct are changed under SystemOptionsNetworkTCP/IPAdvanced addition the default setting, which is 80, any port in therange 1024-65535 can be used.

NATtraversal(portmapping)forIPv4

Anetworkrouterallowsdevicesonaprivatenetwork(LAN)toshareasingleconnectiontothelnternet.Thisisdonebyforwarding networktrafficfromtheprivatenetworktothe"outside",thatis,theInternet.Securityontheprivatenetwork(LAN)isincreased sincemostroutersarepre-configuredtostopattemptstoaccesstheprivatenetwork(LAN)fromthepublicnetwork(Internet).
