How do I set the alarm on my Audiovox RCD10?

Press and hold the ALARM SET button. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired time. Press ALARM SET again to confirm. Select alarm mode (radio, buzzer, or both) using the ALARM MODE switch.

Why is the radio not working on my RCD10?

Check that the antenna is fully extended. Try tuning to a different station. Ensure the volume is turned up. If using battery backup, batteries may be low. Also, verify the AC power is connected.

Does the RCD10 have a battery backup?

Yes, it uses a 9V battery (not included) to keep time and alarm settings during a power outage. The battery does not power the radio or alarm sound.

How do I adjust the display brightness?

Locate the DIMMER switch on the back or side of the unit. Slide it to your preferred brightness level (high, medium, low).

How do I use the snooze function?

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button on top. The alarm will silence for 9 minutes and then reactivate. You can snooze multiple times.

How do I set the time?

Press and hold the TIME SET button. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the correct time. Release the button to save.

Can I wake up to the radio?

Yes, set the ALARM MODE switch to RADIO. Make sure the radio is tuned to your desired station and the volume is loud enough.

The alarm sound is too quiet. How can I increase it?

Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the radio volume. For buzzer alarm, the volume is fixed. Place the clock closer to your bed.

How do I clean my RCD10 clock radio?

Unplug the unit. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use any liquids or cleaning agents, as they may damage the electronics.

What should I do if the display is blank?

Precautions for the unit

Installing the battery

1. Remove battery compartment door (located at the bottom of the clock) by applying thumb pressure to the tab on battery door and then lift the door out and off the cabinet.

2. Replace the compartment door.

1. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the TIME SET position to enter clock setting mode.
2. Press HR to set the hour.
3. The clock is in 12 hour format. The PM indicator will appear for showing a PM time.
4. Press MIN to set the minute.
5. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM OFF to confi rm and exit clock setting mode.

1. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM SET to enter alarm setting mode. The AL indicator appears.
2. Press HR to set the hour.
3. The clock is in 12 hour format. The PM indicator will appear for showing a PM time.

5. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM OFF to confi rm and exit alarm setting mode.

Turning on/off the alarm

1. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM ON position. The Indicator

will turn on to show that the alarm is on.

1. Slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM OFF position. The 📋 Indicator will turn off to show that the alarm is off.

Ways to turn off alarm

• To silence the wake function momentarily, press SNOOZE/LIGHT. The ⚙ indicator fl ashes to show snooze function is activated. The alarm will be on again when the snooze period (4 minutes) is over.
• To disable the wake function completely, slide the ALARM OFF/ALARM ON/ALARM SET/TIME SET switch to the ALARM OFF position. The Indicator will turn off to show that the alarm is off.

Light

Press SNOOZE/LIGHT to light up the display for 3-5 seconds.

Recommendations before returning your product for a warranty claim:

However DO NOT return any removable batteries, even if batteries were included with the original purchase. We recommend using the original carton and packing materials. • Note that product will be returned with factory default settings. Consumer will be responsible to restore any personal preference settings.
