Avoid food spoilage! A refrigerator or freezer thermometer is essential to good health and good eating, and will help you safely monitor safe food temperatures. Keep one in your refrigerator and freezer at all times and check it frequently to warn of any improper operation of your appliance. Since 1851, Taylor has provided you with accurate and easy to use thermometers. When it comes to food safety and accuracy in measurement, it's no wonder that Taylor is the tool that chefs trust.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Press the °C/°F button on the back of the thermometer to switch between Fahrenheit or Celsius. Press the "Min/Max" button once to read the maximum temp in memory, press again to read the minimum temp in memory and a third time to return to the current temperature reading.
BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS:
If the thermometer readings become dim or irregular, the battery may need to be replaced. Using a small instrument that will not damage the thermometer (such as a paperclip), gently press the small hole on the left side of the unit while facing front. The instrument needs to be pressed into this hole while pulling on the battery door at the same time. This will allow battery door to gently slide out. Remove the old battery and install a new CR2025 battery according to the polarity markings on the battery compartment. Gently slide the battery door back into place.
NOTE: Please recycle or dispose of batteries per local regulations.
WARNING: Batteries may pose a choking hazard. Do not Let children handle batteries.
PRECAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Remove the batteries if the item will not be used for a long period of time.
CLEANING AND CARE:
Clean by hand by with a damp cloth. Do ot immerse thermometer in water or put into dishwasher.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
Taylor warrants this product to be free from defects in material or workmanship (excluding batteries), and on return, will repair or replace it at our option, without charge.
NOTE: There is a static cling label over the digital display and a strip under the battery cover to prevent battery drain during shipping. Please remove both before use.
