Installation Instructions

The X9RFMEDIAPALM is pre-synced with the USB RF receiver dongle, and should be automatically recognized by the computer and does not require a driver. Simply follow the steps below and you are ready to go!

1. Install 2 "AA" batteries (included) in the battery compartment. (Or pull the white PULL film out if batteries are inside the compartment already). Switch to turn on keyboard to test the power then turn it off.

2. Locate the USB RF receiver dongle, in its plastic bag. Plug the USB RF receiver dongle into the USB port of your computer.

3. Within 5 seconds after step 2, bring the keyboard very close to the receiver dongle and turn on the keyboard now.

4. You are ready to use the X9RFMEDIAPALM keyboard.

Warranty

X9 Performance warrants that this product will be free from defects in title, materials and manufacturing workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective then, as your sole remedy and as the manufacturer's only obligation, X9 Performance will repair or replace the product. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, or any condition other than what can be considered as normal use.

The liability of X9 Performance arising from this warranty and sale shall be limited to a refund of the purchase price. Sync USB RF Dongle with Keyboard

Note: only if you have followed the Installation Instruction several times already but couldn't get keyboard to work, or if you lost the original USB RF dongle and get a new dongle from us, you can resync the dongle and keyboard with procedures below:

1. First install the battery into the keyboard battery compartment and turn on the keyboard to test power then turn it off to prepare for step 2 and 3.

2. Plug the RF dongle into a computer USB port. The dongle will start to search for a new device, (normally it will cease searching after 15 seconds).

3. Promptly bring the keyboard a few inches nearby the RF dongle, and turn on the keyboard. When you see the sync/battery indicator is flashing on the keyboard, immediately press key 'ESC' with the left hand (hold it and not to release it) and then keep typing the key 'K' for 3-5 seconds, and then the keyboard should sync with the dongle automatically. Test the keyboard to see if it works or not.

4. If it does not work, repeat step 1 through 3 until it works.
