Before Installation
- The camera must not face into direct sunlight or any bright light; as this may cause damage to the camera.
- Avoid viewing areas where half of the area is in bright light and the other half is in darkness. All types of cameras have difficulty viewing wide variations in light levels.
- The communication range of this device is up to 100 feet (30 m) from the Wireless System Controller in a typical home, depending on the number of obstacles. These can include metal framing, thick walls, and other wireless devices operating at 2.4 GHz. It is recommended that different positions are tried.
- The 2.4 GHz video signals pass easily through home interior walls, but the signal may be reflected by power cables or plumbing inside the wall. The most common source of interference is microwave ovens. Try to avoid mounting the LCD monitor near a microwave oven or other source of RF interference such as a wireless phone.

Notes:
- If more than one camera is used interference may occur between wireless devices. If this is the case, the problem can be solved by changing the channel of the camera or changing the frequency band of the wireless devices.
- The wireless home viewer system uses a 2.4GHz frequency band. If this unit is used in close proximity to a microwave oven or a wireless device such as a wireless home theatre system, wireless LAN, wireless telephone etc. interference may occur. Do not use the wireless home viewer system near any other wireless devices.
Trouble shooting
If any problems occur refer to the following guide before contacting a service engineer.

| Ensure the camera(s) and LCD monitor are switched on. | |
| Ensure the rechargeable battery is fully charged. | |
| Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted with (1) and (-) aligned osmcty. | |
| Interference on Camera picture | Ensure each camera is within the range, and no large obstructions are blocking the signal. Try repositioning the camera, the monitor or both to improve reception quality. |
| Reposition other equipment which is a close proximity and may be transmitting at 2.4GHz frequency. | |
| Audio problems | Ensure the volume is set at a sufficiently high level on the monitor. |
