How do I set up the Coleman Instant Up Single Ensuite tent?

It is recommended to have two people for setup. First, layout the tent on a level site clear of rocks and sharp objects, avoiding overhead power lines and trees. Then, raise the tent using the pre-attached poles (FRP poles) to 'instant up' mechanism. Verify connections, install the optional towel rack (if included), attach the rainfly, stake down and guy out the tent. See illustrations in the manual for details.

Is the tent waterproof?

The tent is designed to be water-resistant with a rainfly. Condensation inside is normal and not leakage. Ensure good ventilation to minimize condensation.

How should I store the tent after use?

Unzip doors and windows to let air escape, fold the inner tent, fold the rainfly to the length of the poles, and roll everything together using the poles. Store in a cool, dry place. Make sure the tent is thoroughly dry and free of caked dirt before storage.

Can I use the tent in windy conditions?

Yes, but for best results position the narrow end of the tent into the wind. Secure the tent with all ground pegs, guylines, and rainfly attachments to prevent damage or injury.

How do I remove the ground pegs?

Always pull on the peg itself, never pull on the tent fabric to remove pegs, as this could cause property damage or personal injury.

Is the tent fire-resistant?

The tent fabric meets CPAI-84 flammability requirements. However, it may burn if left in continuous contact with any flame source. Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent. Applying foreign substances may reduce flame resistance.

• Do not set up your tent under trees because of potential lightning strikes or falling tree limbs in inclement weather.
• NOTICE: Secure product with all ground pegs, guylines and rainfly attachments for optimal performance and to prevent property damage or personal injury.
• For best results in windy conditions, position narrow end of tent into the wind.

Things You Should Know

• Condensation is normal and IS NOT LEAKAGE. It can be minimized by providing good ventilation.
• Tree limbs, tree sap, bird droppings, or moisture steadily dripping off tree limbs can cause damage to the tent fabric and its coating.
• Do not store tents without drying it off thoroughly and brushing off caked dirt.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
• Pegs should be removed by pulling on the peg itself. NEVER PULL ON THE TENT TO REMOVE PEGS AS THIS COULD RESULT IN PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.
• Prolonged exposure to the sun can seriously damage material and/or cause it to become discolored.

This tent meets the flammability requirements of CPAI-84. The fabric may burn if left in continuous contact with any flame source. The application of any foreign substance to the tent fabric may render the flame-resistant properties ineffective.
