How do I set up the Netcomm NS-01?
Connect the power adapter to the NS-01 and wait five minutes. Ensure your CloudMesh Gateway is connected to the internet. Then press the WPS button on both devices within two minutes. The LED will show pairing status: solid white or blue indicates success.
What does the LED light mean?
During startup: red flashing (powering up), purple solid (powering up), blue flashing (ready for pairing). After pairing: white solid (good signal), blue solid (medium signal), red solid (poor signal).
How do I pair the NS-01 with my CloudMesh Gateway?
Place the NS-01 next to the Gateway, press and release the WPS button on the Satellite, then press and release the 5G WPS button on the Gateway within two minutes. Pairing may take up to five minutes.
What is the range of the NS-01?
The NS-01 can extend coverage up to 2000 sq ft, depending on home layout and obstructions. For best performance, place it centrally.
Can I use the NS-01 with any router?
The NS-01 is designed to work with Netcomm CloudMesh Gateways. It may not be compatible with other routers. Check the CloudMesh app for compatibility.
How do I reset the NS-01?
To reset, press and hold the WPS button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly. This restores factory settings.
Why is the light red after setup?
A red solid light indicates poor signal between the Satellite and Gateway. Move the Satellite closer to the Gateway and check again.
Can I turn off the LED lights?
Yes, press and hold the WPS button for five seconds to toggle the LED display on or off.
Does the NS-01 support WPS?

RF EXPOSURE

The device contains a transmitter and a receiver. When it is on, it receives and transmits RF energy. The device conforms with the radio frequency (RF) exposure limits adopted by the Australian Communications and Media Authority Radiocommunications (Electromagnetic Radiation - Human Exposure) Standard 2014, when used at a distance of not less than 20 cm from the body.

Before you begin, ensure your CloudMesh Gateway is connected to the Internet.

Connect the Power adapter to the CloudMesh Satellite

INTERNET GREEN Light NetComm WPS

Wait five minutes for the CloudMesh Satellite to initialise and then check the light status. A solid white or blue light means the satellite has been paired with the Gateway and is ready to use.

A solid red light means that the Satellite needs to be moved closer to the Gateway. If after five minutes, the light is still flashing blue, follow the instructions on the page 18.

Your CloudMesh Satellite light follows this sequence when first turned on:

When connected to the CloudMesh Gateway, the light shows the signal strength as follows:

If the CloudMesh Satellite light is still flashing blue after five minutes, you will need to pair it with the CloudMesh Gateway.

Place the CloudMesh Satellite next to your CloudMesh Gateway.

Wait for both devices to power on. Ensure that the CloudMesh Gateway is connected to the Internet.
