Two-Section Broadcast Arm
with Internal Springs
Owner's Manual

Thank you for choosing the Auray two-section broadcast arm with internal springs. This versatile and sturdy broadcast arm is for studio as well as home use, and is ideal for broadcast, voiceovers or podcasts.
The BAI-series broadcast arms are designed with internal springs that provide a clean and sleek look. The internal balance springs are precision engineered to support and hold in place microphones of up to 5 lb. (2.27 kg). The design also minimizes handling noise when repositioning the arm. The broadcast arm features a standard 5/8\~27 microphone stud mount that is compatible with most shockmounts and microphone clips. The angle of the microphone stud mount can be adjusted and secured with the locking knob, and the angle is maintained when repositioning the arm – eliminating the need to readjust it every time the arm is moved. An extension of up to 40 inches and the ability to rotate the arm 360° allow for precise microphone placement.
The BAI series features a heavy-duty combo mount that consists of a sturdy C-clamp and a heavy-metal desktop mount. The C-clamp is capable of fastening onto desktops up to 2.3-inches thick. The C-clamp's slim design minimizes the clearance needed to mount it between the desk and wall. The desktop mount detaches from the C-clamp and provides the option of permanent installation to a desktop with the mounting screws (included).
A 14-inch riser is included for adding height to the broadcastarm in order to extend over computer or studio monitors.
Options are available with integrated 15-foot Kopul 2000 XLR cable (BAI-2X), or a 10-foot Type A to Type B USB cable (BAI-2U).

Instructions
Setting up the BAI-series broadcast arm using the C-clamp:
- Fully open the C-clamp.
- Place the C-clamp on the edge of the desk so that the C-clamp bracket is flush against the side of the desktop.
- Secure the C-clamp by tightening the handle until the desktop mount is securely fixed to the desktop. 2
Caution: For a secure and stable setup, the desk's surface and underside should be flat, and the corners should be square. Attaching the clamp to a beveled, curved, or uneven surface can result in unstable and unsafe installation and cause damage to the desktop.
- Loosen the insert hole locking knob and insert the base stud of the broadcast arm into the hole of the desktop mount. 3
