Frequently Asked Questions - BOB12 Digigram

How do I pair my smartphone via Bluetooth?

Press the Bluetooth button on the unit or remote until PAIRING appears on the display. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and select Digigram BOB12 from the list. If prompted for a PIN, enter 0000.

Can I play music from a USB flash drive?

Yes. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the front panel. The system will automatically detect and play the files. Use the remote or front buttons to navigate folders and tracks.

How do I set the clock?

Press and hold the CLOCK button on the remote for 3 seconds. The hour digits flash. Use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the hour, then press CLOCK again to set minutes. Repeat to confirm.

What should I do if there is no sound?

Check that the system is not muted (press MUTE on remote). Ensure the speakers are properly connected. Verify the audio source is playing and the volume is turned up. If using Bluetooth, ensure your device is paired and within range.

How do I play a CD?

Press the CD button on the unit or remote. Open the CD tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button (or the disc icon on remote). Place a CD label side up, close the tray. Playback starts automatically. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, and SKIP buttons.

How do I tune in a radio station?

Press the RADIO button to select FM or AM. Press and hold the SCAN button (or PLAY on remote) to automatically search and store stations. To manually tune, use the SKIP buttons. Saved stations can be recalled using the PRESET buttons.

Can I connect the system to a TV?

Yes, if your TV has a 3.5 mm headphone jack or RCA audio output. Use a compatible cable to connect to the AUX IN jack on the back of the BOB12. Select AUX as the source.

How do I reset the system to factory settings?

With the unit turned on, press and hold the STOP button on the front panel for 5 seconds. The display will show RESET and the system will reboot. All settings including presets and clock will be erased.

How do I activate standby mode?

Press the STANDBY button on the remote or front panel. The display turns off but a red LED indicates standby. To turn off completely, unplug the power cord. The system automatically enters standby after 15 minutes of inactivity.

How do I clean the unit?

Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners. For the CD lens, use a dedicated lens cleaner disc periodically. Do not spray anything directly onto the unit.

Digigram's BOB8 and BOB12 allow straightforward and secure connection to all I/Os of compatible Digigram multichannel sound cards:

• PCX/LCM/VX cards disposing of a Sub-D 62 HD connector, with a connection cable Sub-D 62 HD male / Sub-D 62 HD male
• Cards of the miXart 8 range ^* , with a connection cable Sub-D 62 HD / SCSI 40 (analog) plus MDR 26 (digital)
  * on miXart 8 CN and miXart 8 ES, only the analog I/Os are transmitted to BOB8

BOB8 and BOB12 use Neutrik ^TM high-quality connectors.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

To ensure full compliance of our products, the breakout boxes have been tested in combination with Digigram sound cards against the following standards and found to comply:

• International: CISPR22 Class B
• Europe: EMC 89/336/CEE (1992) specifications
• United States: FCC Rules-Part 15-Class B (digital device)

In order to guarantee compliance with the above standards in an installation:

• the breakout boxes must not be modified
• additional cables used must have their respective shield connected to each extremity

The use of a BOB8 or BOB12 breakout box does in no way alter or deteriorate the audio quality of your Digigram sound card when used with the default cable of two meters. The use of a cable of five or ten meters may result in a minor increase of the analog channel crosstalk. For the detailed specifications of your card, please refer to its user's manual.
