Frequently Asked Questions - DVX-668K Vocopro

How do I connect the DVX-668K to my TV?
Use one of the video outputs: RCA composite (yellow), S-Video, Component (Y,Pb,Pr), or SCART. Connect the corresponding cable to the TV input. Then select the correct video output mode using the V-MODE button on the remote.
Why is there no sound from the DVX-668K?
Check that audio cables are firmly connected and not defective. Ensure the connected amplifier or TV is set to the correct input. Verify that the player is not muted and that volume is turned up. Also check the audio setup menu for correct output settings (e.g., Stereo, 5.1).
How do I play files from a USB drive?
Insert the USB drive into the front USB port. Press the DVD/USB button on the remote to switch to USB mode. Use the arrow keys to navigate files and press ENTER to play.
The disc will not play. What should I do?
Ensure the disc is inserted label-side up and is clean and scratch-free. For CD/DVD-R/RW discs, try a different brand. If the issue persists, clean the laser lens with a lens cleaner disc.
How do I use the microphone?
Plug a 1/4" microphone into either MIC 1 or MIC 2 on the front panel. Turn the MIC VOLUME knob clockwise to increase volume. Adjust ECHO for reverb effect. Microphone audio is output through the front left and right channels only.
How do I change the key of a song?
Use the Digital Key Control buttons on the remote: b (flat) lowers the key, # (sharp) raises it, and the natural button resets to original. Each press changes by one step, up to ±16 steps.
The remote control does not work. What can I do?
First, check that the batteries are inserted correctly and are fresh. Point the remote directly at the REMOTE SENSOR on the front panel. Move closer to the unit. Also ensure the main power button on the front panel is pressed in (the remote only controls standby).
How do I switch between PAL and NTSC?
Press the N/P button on the remote control while the player is stopped. NTSC is for North America, PAL for Europe and Asia.
Can I connect the DVX-668K to a surround sound system?
Yes. Use the 5.1 channel RCA outputs (FL, FR, CEN, SL, SR, SUB) to connect to a surround sound receiver. Alternatively, use coaxial or optical digital outputs for Dolby Digital. Note that microphone vocals are only output through front left/right.
How should I clean the DVX-668K?
Unplug the unit from the power outlet. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. For the disc lens, use a commercial lens cleaning disc.

Compliance with these requirements provides a reasonable level of assurances that your use of this product in a residential environment will not result in harmful interference with other electronic devices. This equipment generates/uses radio frequencies and, if not installed and used according to the instructions found in the owner's manual, may cause interference harmful to the operation of other electronic devices. Compliance with FCC regulations does not guarantee that interference will not occur in all installations. If this product is found to be the source of interference, which can be determined by turning the unit "Off" and "On", please try to eliminate the problem by using one of the following measures:

Relocate either this product or the device that is being affected by the interference.

Use power outlets that are on different branch (circuit breaker or fuse) circuits or install AC line filter(s).
