How do I start a preset function like Juice or Smoothies?

Press the knob to turn on the unit, rotate to select the desired function (e.g., JUICE), then press the knob to start. The blender will run for the preset time and stop automatically.

Can I blend hot liquids in this blender?

Only liquids below 60°C are allowed, and the maximum capacity for hot liquids is 1000 ml. Use low speed (1-2) and do not blend for more than 3 minutes to avoid pressure buildup.

How do I adjust the blending time and speed in Manual mode?

After selecting MANUAL, press and hold the knob to enter time adjustment (10-90 seconds). Rotate to set time. Then press the knob to start; while blending, rotate the knob to adjust speed from 1 to 9.

What is the maximum capacity of the jar?

The jar has a capacity of 2000 cc (2 liters). For hot liquids, do not exceed 1000 ml.

How do I use the Pulse function?

Toggle the Pulse Switch at any time during operation. This is useful for chopping solid ingredients or thick mixtures.

How should I clean the blender?

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not abuse the power cord. Never carry the appliance by the power cord or yank it to disconnect from electrical outlet; instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to any authorized Imarflex Service Center for examination, repair or adjustment.
6. Do not place the unit near gas stove, electric stove or in a heated oven.
7. Put the unit on flat surfaced; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
8. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as utensils out of container while processing to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the appliance. A scraper may be used but only when the appliance is not running.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. This appliance is not intended to be uses by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
11. Be careful when handing the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
12. Do not blend hot liquids, doing so may cause excessive pressure build-up, resulting in risk of the user being burned.

How to turn ON the unit:

1. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet.
2. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
3. The unit will be on standby mode and will automatically turn OFF if no function is selected in approximately 15 seconds.

Juice:

1. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
2. Rotate knob to select JUICE function.
3. Press the knob to start/stop the blending process.
4. The blending time is 30 seconds. The unit will automatically stop after the blending process.

Smoothies:

1. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
2. Rotate knob to select SMOOTHIES function.
3. Press the knob to start/stop the blending process.
4. The blending time is 40 seconds. The unit will automatically stop after the blending process.

Ice Crush:

1. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
2. Rotate knob to select ICE CRUSH function.
3. Press the knob to start/stop the blending process.
4. The blending time is 30 seconds. The unit will automatically stop after the blending process.

Soup:

1. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
2. Rotate knob to select SOUP function.
3. Press the knob to start/stop the blending process.
4. The blending time is 180 seconds. The unit will automatically stop after the blending process.

Grind:

1. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
2. Rotate knob to select GRIND function.

Manual Control:

If you desire to change the set function to another, press the knob to stop then rotate the knob to select the new desired function.

Safety Instruction for HOT LIQUIDS:

1. Be careful in adding or mixing the ingredients.
2. Do not use the blender to process boiling liquids.
3. Liquid temperature must be less than 60^ .
4. Hot liquid maximum capacity is 1000ml / 1L.
5. Speed must be set in low speed (1-2 speed).
6. Blending process is maximum of 3 minutes only.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

IMPORTANT: Your blender jar and blades are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the jar for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect blades for broken, bent or loose blades. Avoid using the jar blades if damaged.

Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

Make sure that the blender is unplugged. Place blender base on clear dry surface to keep foreign particles from being pulled up into motor during operation.

1. Make sure that the top housing pad is properly installed in the motor base.
2. Put the center cup on the Jar Lid.
3. Secure the Lid into the Plastic Jar and press down.
4. Place the Plastic Jar with Blade Assembly on the Motor Base and press down until securely engaged.

HOW TO USE

1. For initial use, wash plastic jar with blade assembly thoroughly "Please refer to cleaning and maintenance method".
2. Make sure that the top housing pad is properly installed in the motor base.
3. Place the center cup into the hole of the Jar Lid and turn it clockwise to lock.
4. Put the desired mixture.
5. Put the lid on the plastic jar and close securely.
6. Place the plastic jar with blade assembly on the motor base.
7. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
8. Press knob to turn ON the unit.
9. Rotate the knob to select the desired function.
10. Unplug the unit after every use.

USEFUL TIPS

To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one. When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid. For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from getting stuck.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Motor Base

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Wipe or clean the outside surface with a damp or soft cloth.
   NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
3. Thoroughly clean switches so that they work freely. They will become sticky when in use. Use a damp cloth or sponge to flush and clean the groove around the water shielded switches. You may also lightly spray the surface around the switches with an all-purpose cleaner and work the switches back and forth a few times to loosen any dried residue under switch.
4. Polish with a soft cloth.
5. Always be sure to wring excess water out of cloth or sponge when cleaning around the controls or any electrical part.

Container and Blade Assembly

Method 1:

After use, add warm water and a splash of vinegar to blender jar. Set the variable speed to medium speed. Turn ON and let the blender work the liquid for about a minute. Pour out, rinse the blender jar well.

Method 2:

Fill the blender jar half way (1L) with warm water, add a small amount of liquid dish detergent and turn the unit on MEDIUM speed for about 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Rinse well.

Method 3:

If blender was left sitting until there is dried, crusty food bits inside fill with warm, soapy water (or vinegar water) and let sit for about 30 to 60 seconds. Empty water to about half and then blend for second intervals until clean.
