Frequently Asked Questions - Fobbles-F3 Froggy's Fog

How do I pair the remote control with the machine?
Press and hold the REMOTE button on the machine until the REMOTE LED lights red. Then release and press the A or B button on the remote. The LED will turn green, indicating successful pairing. To unpair, press and hold the REMOTE button until the LED flashes red three times and turns off.
What type of fluids should I use in the Fobbles-F3?
Use only Froggy's Fog water-based fog fluid in the rear reservoir and high-quality bubble fluid like Froggy's Fog Max Bubbles in the front reservoir. Do not put bubble fluid in the fog tank, as it will damage the heater and void the warranty. Never add flammable liquids.
Why is my machine not producing fog after turning it on?
The machine requires a warm-up period. The LCD will display "WARMING UP" until it reaches operating temperature, then show "READY". If it does not heat, check that the fog fluid sensor is enabled and there is sufficient fluid. Also ensure the power cord is properly connected to a grounded 120V outlet.
How do I clean the fog bubble machine?
After 40 hours of use or before storage, allow the machine to cool. Drain any remaining fog fluid through a filter for reuse. Dispose of bubble solution and wipe the condensation tray. Fill the fog reservoir 1/3 with distilled water, run for 10 minutes, then drain. Refill with good-quality fog solution and run for 10-15 minutes. Finally, wipe the exterior with a clean lint-free cloth.
Can I use the Fobbles-F3 outdoors?
Yes, but the machine must be shielded from inclement weather such as rain or snow. It is not waterproof or splash-proof. If moisture gets inside, unplug immediately and contact a technician. Ensure the unit is on a level, dry surface.
Is the nozzle hot? How careful should I be?
Yes, the nozzle reaches up to 300°C (572°F). Never point it at people, animals, or flammable materials. Keep the machine out of reach of children and maintain at least 6 inches of clearance around the unit for ventilation.
What is the warranty period for the Fobbles-F3?
The machine comes with a 90-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Proof of purchase and serial number are required. The warranty does not cover normal wear items like pumps, fuses, switches, or CODs. It is valid only within the United States.
How do I adjust the fog volume?
During operation, use the UP and DOWN buttons on the control panel to adjust fog volume from 0% to 100%. The setting is displayed on the LCD. In manual mode, hold the MANUAL button for continuous output at full volume.
How do I set the machine for constant burst operation?
Press the LOCK button to enable constant burst. The machine will emit fog repeatedly. Press the LOCK button again to stop. While locked, you can adjust fog volume with the UP/DOWN buttons.
What should I do if the machine has been exposed to extreme temperature changes?
Do not switch it on immediately. Allow it to reach room temperature first to avoid damage from condensation. This is especially important after transportation in cold weather.

Maintenance

Cleaning your fog bubble machine regularly will help reduce costly parts replacement and repair charges.

Please follow these instructions for safely cleaning after 40 hours of operation or before storing the fog bubble machine, to ensure long lifespan. Tools: Clean lint free cloth, coffee filter or similar fine mesh filter cloth, plastic, or glass container larger than the reservoir size (do not use metal), distilled water and Froggys Fog fluid.

  1. Allow the machine to cool down before handling.
  2. Drain any fog solution that remains in the tank into a container through the filter mesh for reuse.
  3. Dispose of any bubble solutions and wipe condensation tray and bubble wands.
  4. Add distilled water to fill the fog fluid reservoir approximately 1/3.
  5. Run machine for 10 minutes. Fog will come out the first few cycles, followed by steaming water vapor.
  6. Turn off the machine and allow to cool down, then drain the distilled water from the reservoir.
  7. Refill the reservoir approximately 1/3 with good quality fog solution.
  8. Turn fog machine on, run for 10-15 minutes. Water vapor steam will come out the first few cycles, followed by fog. Continue fog output for 5-10 cycles.
  9. Turn off the machine and allow to cool, then wipe machine clean with clean lint free cloth.
  10. Leave the fog machine stored with fog fluid in the lines. The fog solution acts a lubricant and conditioner for the plastic and rubber parts in the fluid pump.
  11. Store the fog machine in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid freezing temperatures, high heat above 120 degrees and humid/damp locations which may cause control board failure.
  12. If possible, remove from storage after 6 months and operate the fog machine for 15 minutes or more, then repeat step 8 – 10.
