Frequently Asked Questions - Touch Control Tower KCE480 Kambrook

How do I clean the dust filter on the KCE480?
Always unplug the heater first. Remove the screw at the top of the filter, press down on the tab, and pull the filter bracket away. Shake or vacuum the filter to remove dust. Reattach by aligning grooves and pushing until it clicks, then replace the screw.
What does the tip-over safety switch do?
If the heater is accidentally tipped over, the tip-over switch will immediately cut power. Once placed upright, the heater enters standby. Press the Power button to resume operation.
How do I set the auto-off timer?
First select your heating mode, then press Timer. Use + or - to choose hours (1-12). The timer icon appears and counts down. To cancel, set the timer to 0.
Why won't my heater turn on?
Check that the power plug is fully inserted into a 230-240V outlet and the outlet is switched on. Ensure the heater is on a flat, level surface as the tip-over switch may be activated. Press the Power button to start.
Can I use this heater on a carpet?
Place the heater on a hard, flat surface. High-pile carpets may trigger the tip-over switch and stop operation. If this happens, move the heater to a solid floor.
What is Smart Eco mode?
Smart Eco mode lets you set a desired temperature (10-35°C). The heater automatically adjusts between Low and High heat to maintain that temperature, then switches to standby when reached.
How do I reset the ThermoGuard overheat protection?
If the heater overheats, it will shut off. Unplug the heater, check for blockages at the air inlet/outlet, and allow it to cool completely (about 30 minutes). Plug in again and restart.
How do I use the remote control?
Remove the battery isolating slip before first use. Point the remote at the heater's LED display from up to 5 meters. If it stops working, replace the CR2025 battery with the + side facing up.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
No. Do not use near water, baths, showers, or swimming pools. The heater is for indoor household use only in dry locations.
How should I store the heater?
