How do I preheat the Imarflex IT-432CR oven?

Set the temperature to the desired level, turn the function selector to your preferred heating mode, and set the timer to preheat for at least 5 minutes at 175°C or as required by your recipe. The oven will beep when the timer ends.

Can I use the rotisserie function without the skewer?

Yes, you can use the selected heating elements without the rotisserie skewer. Just ensure the skewer is not placed inside the oven. The function selector still allows operation of upper, lower, or both heaters without the rotisserie.

Why does the oven produce smoke or a burning smell the first time I use it?

This is normal. Preheat the empty oven for 3-5 minutes at a high temperature to burn off any manufacturing residues. After that, the smell should disappear.

How do I set the timer for less than 10 minutes?

Turn the timer knob past the maximum (e.g., 60 min) first, then rotate back to your desired time below 10 minutes. Note that the actual time may vary by ±60 seconds.

What should I do if the timer switch is difficult to turn off?

Never force the timer switch. It automatically returns to the OFF position after the set time. If it's stuck, unplug the oven and contact an authorized service center.

Can I bake cakes in this oven?

Yes, use the 'Convection + Rotisserie + Both Heaters' setting without the skewer for even baking. Preheat the oven and use the baking tray provided.

How do I clean the oven interior?

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the oven toaster, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
5. Put the unit on stable surface; keep it away from the edge of counter to avoid accident.
6. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the unit and from the convenience outlet where the unit is plugged in.

7. Do not place the oven toaster near gas stove or electric stove.

8. The unit needs at least 10 cm clearance space on all sides and at least 30 cm above. This is to allow adequate air circulation.

9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

FUNCTION SELECTOR:

1. Upper Heater + Rotisserie – It is normally use for top part of the foods, reheating, pizza, broil, or roasting chicken using rotisserie function.

Tip: if you want to use upper heater only, do not place the skewer on the unit.

1. Lower Heater – Use for baking breads.

2. Both Heaters + Rotisserie – Use for grilling meats, seafood, or roasting chicken using rotisserie function.

Tip: if you want to use both heaters only, do not place the skewer on the unit.

1. Convection + Rotisserie + Upper Heater – This setting normally uses for pizza, lasagna, baked mac, or roasting chicken using rotisserie function.

Tip: if you want to use upper heater and convection only, do not place the skewer on the unit.

1. Convection + Rotisserie + Both Heaters - this setting is use for baking cakes or roasting chicken using rotisserie function.

Tip: if you want to use both heaters and convection only, do not place the skewer on the unit.

HOW TO USE

NOTE: For the first use, preheat the oven toaster for at least 3 to 5 minutes until burnt smell and light smoke is gone. This is to prevent this smell and smoke mix to the food to be cooked.

1. Place the unit on flat surface.
2. Check if the timer and heat selector switch is at OFF position before plugging the oven toaster into the convenience outlet.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Set the desired temperature.
5. Set the heat selector switch (up, down or all).
6. For baking, use edible oil or butter to keep the food from sticking into the pan and select convection function.
7. Turn the timer to preheat the oven for at least 5 minutes at 175^ C or as required by the cooking recipe.
   NOTE: If you need to set the time below 10 minutes, set the timer switch

to maximum first then set to desired time setting. The time that been set may not be reach exactly, it may be ±60 seconds of the set time.

1. Place the food on the grill rack or tray and close the door. Be careful when putting food, the unit is hot.
2. Turn the timer switch to desired cooking time.

NOTE: Cooking time may vary to size and amount of food to be cooked. The result of the cooked food may depend on the amount and size, trial is advisable to get the desired setting and doneness of the food.

1. A beep sound will be heard and the oven toaster will stop cooking once the set time is finished.

NOTE: Never turn OFF the Timer Switch forcibly, it may damage the switch. The switch will automatically return to the OFF position even without turning.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.
2. Allow the unit to cool down before moving or cleaning.
3. Use damp cloth in cleaning the unit.
4. Wash tray, rack, tray handle, skewer and skewer handle with soap and water, let it dry.
5. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches.
6. Always clean the inner part of the unit after every use.
