Frequently Asked Questions - GGSBFAP4W10W Sôlt

How do I assemble the Bladeless Fan?
First, remove the Air Inlet Grille by unclipping the buckle. Then take out the Pre-Filter by pressing the raised parts on both sides. Remove the protective film from the new HEPA filter, install it inside, then reinstall the Pre-Filter aligning the bottom slot and clicking the upper U-shaped buckle. Finally, attach the Air Inlet Grille by aligning the top two buckles and pressing firmly, then pressing the sides. Connect the adapter to the base and plug into a power outlet.
How do I replace the HEPA filter?
When the filter replacement reminder indicator light stays on, unplug the fan. Remove the Air Inlet Grille and Pre-Filter. Take out the old HEPA filter and insert a new one (model FQ150CJ-2). Reinstall the Pre-Filter and Grille. Long press the Mode button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator light.
Why isn't my remote control working?
Possible causes: dead batteries (replace with new AAA alkaline or manganese batteries), distance >5m from the fan, or not pointing directly at the display panel. Ensure the batteries are inserted with correct polarity. If the problem persists, the remote may be faulty; contact customer support.
How do I clean the fan?
Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Wipe the body and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. For the pre-filter, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. Do not dismantle the rotor guard to clean blades. Never use abrasive cleaners or let water enter the motor.
How do I set the timer?
Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour, up to 12 hours. The display will show the remaining time. To cancel, press until "Oh" appears, indicating the timer is off. The timer function is not memorized after power off.
What are the different fan modes?
The fan has four modes: Normal (constant wind), Sleep (3 sub-settings: Low constant, Medium then slow, High then slow), Auto Wind (speed varies with air quality), and Baby Wind (2 sub-settings for gentle breeze). Press the Mode button to cycle through them.
Is the fan safe to use with children?
The fan has a blade-less design for safety. However, children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Keep the fan on a stable surface to prevent tipping. Do not insert fingers or objects through the grille while running. Follow all safety instructions in the manual.
How does the oscillation work?
Press the Swing button (icon with directional arrows) to toggle oscillation on or off. When on, the fan will automatically rotate left and right to distribute air across a wider area. The oscillation angle is fixed; the fan does not allow adjustable range.
What does the air quality light mean?
The air quality indicator light changes color based on surrounding air quality: red (poor), yellow (moderate), blue (good), green (excellent). You can toggle this light on/off using the dedicated button on the control panel.
What should I do if the fan stops working?
Check if the power cord is properly plugged in and the outlet is working. Press the Power button on the fan body (not just remote). If the fuse blows, replace it with the same rating (refer to product marking). If the fan still does not work, contact an authorized service facility. Do not attempt to repair yourself.
