How do I install the filter bottle for the first time?

Wash your hands thoroughly. Remove the filter and soak it in water for at least 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Wash and rinse the purifier bottle and lid. Place the filter and plastic cover back into the bottle. Remove the bottle support from the water cooler, place the filter bottle on top, fill the tank with water, and cover with the lid. Allow the cold tank to fill for 30 minutes before use.

Why is the water flow slow?

Filter bottles generally have a slower flow rate than spring water bottles. If the speed is still slow after 200-300 litres, take out the top layer of the filter element and wash it under a fast-flowing tap.

What should I do if black particles appear in the water?

Black activated carbon powder can float when the filter is first used. Clean the water filter and let this black water flow out before putting the filter onto the dispenser.

How often should I change the filter?

Change the filter after one year's use or after 3000 litres of water filtration, whichever comes first.

How do I clean the water dispenser?

Clean the water tank and pipes with a citric acid solution (30g citric acid per 500ml water) before initial use and after extended periods of non-use. Dispose of the first 2 litres of water after cleaning (switch heating off). Clean and disinfect the system every 3-6 months using the citric acid solution. The outside can be wiped with a soft cloth.

What type of water can I use?

Use clean tap water only. Do not put grey water or other dirty water through the filter, as this greatly reduces the filter lifespan.

What are the safety precautions?

Only connect to an earthed wall socket. Do not use with a timer. Keep the appliance at least 15cm from walls and ensure ventilation openings are unobstructed. Do not operate with empty water tank. Keep out of reach of children. Unplug and drain if not used for a long period.

How do I operate the dispenser?

Insert the bottle vertically into the bottle support. Press the water tap until water flows from the hot water tap. Plug in and turn the power switch to ON. Do not turn on both heating and cooling switches at the same time. The appliance automatically maintains hot (80-95°C) and cold (≤15°C) water.

What should I do if the dispenser does not work?

Check that the power cord is plugged into an earthed socket and the power switch at the rear is ON. Ensure the water tank is filled before turning on. If the plug or cable is damaged, have it replaced by a professional.

Can I use the dispenser outdoors?

No, this appliance is for indoor use only. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, rain, and in a dry, well-ventilated location.

Bottle Installation

Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the filter & bottle.

1. Remove the filter and soak in water for at least 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
2. Wash and rinse the purifier bottle and lid.
3. Place the filter and the plastic cover back in the purifier bottle.
4. Remove the bottle support from the water cooler.
5. Place the filter bottle on top of the water cooler.
6. Fill the tank with water, then cover with the lid.

Note: Filter bottles generally have a slower flow rate compared to spring water bottles. It will take longer to fill the cooling tank. Allow the cold tank to fill for 30 minutes.

Filter Maintenance

1. Unscrew the plastic filter cover.
2. Remove the top filter layer.
3. Wash or replace the filter cloth.
4. The filter element itself can be unscrewed counter-clockwise.

Notes

• Black activated carbon powder can float in the water when the filter is first used. Clean the water filter and let this black water flow out before putting the filter onto the dispenser.
  • The water purifier must be located out of direct sunlight.
• Water being fed through the filter should be clean tap water. Do not put grey water or other dirty water through the filter as this will greatly reduce the lifespan of the filter.
  • If you find that the speed of filtration after 200-300 litres is still slow,

please take out the top layer of the filter element and wash it under a fast-flowing tap.

Operating Instructions

1. Insert the bottle vertically into the bottle support on top of the dispenser and press the water tap until water flows out of the hot water tap (red tap).
2. Insert the power plug into the wall socket and turn the power switches to the ON position to start the appliance. DO NOT TURN ON BOTH SWITCHES AT THE SAME TIME. Cooling and heating indicator lights should illuminate. The appliance is designed to provide hot or cold water whenever you need it. It will automatically turn on and off when the water reaches the preset temperatures.
