USER MANUAL IMC-4000S Imarflex
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated in this unit corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
- Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
- Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the Multi-cooker.
- Do not place on or near gas stove or electric stove.
- Do not use the Multi-cooker without the Inner Pot.
- Do not move the Multi-cooker while cooking is in progress.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids
- The use of accessory attachments not included or recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazard or injury.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- CAUTION: Never leave the Multi-cooker unattended while cooking.
- Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the Multi-cooker.
- Do not loop the cord around the Multi-cooker after use.
- Keep the Multi-cooker in a dry and cool place.
- This multi-cooker is for household use only, not intended for commercial use.
- In case of malfunctions, please bring the Multi-cooker to the nearest Authorized Imarflex Service Center.
- Save this instruction for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS

HOW TO USE
Your Multi-cooker is designed to do almost all of the methods in cooking. All you have to do is to follow your usual recipes and Turn the Temperature Control Knob to your desired cooking requirement (stew, stir-fry, deep fry, etc).
NOTE: When the unit reaches the set temperature, the power light indicator will turn to OFF and will return to ON once the temperature has decreased. The unit may emit odor /smoke for the first use but this is normal.
DEEP FRYING
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Set the Temperature Control knob to 220^ C.
- Put oil inside the inner pot. Do not mix new oil with used oil.
- Prepare the ingredients.
- When the Multi-cooker reaches the required temperature, put the food inside.
- Once the food is cooked, remove from the Multi-cooker and drain excess oil.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
STIR FRYING
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Set the Temperature Control Knob to 120°C.
- Put small amount of oil inside the Inner Pot
- When the Multi-cooker reaches the required temperature, put the food inside.
Frequently stir the ingredients for even cooking. - Once the food is cooked, remove from the Multi-cooker.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
STEWING/SLOW COOKING
- Prepare the ingredients.
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Set the Temperature Control Knob to 70°C.
- Put all the ingredients inside the Multi-cooker. Stir occasionally.
- Once the food is cooked, remove from the Multi-cooker.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
STEAMING
- Prepare the ingredients.
- Put desired amount of water inside the Inner Pot.
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Set the Temperature Control Knob to 100°C.
- Line up the food on the Steamer. Set aside.
- Once the water boils, put the Steamer on top of the Multicooker
- After steaming, remove the Steamer from the Multi-cooker.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
FOOD WARMING
- Once the food is cooked, set the Temperature Control Knob to lowest temperature. It keeps the food warm for a long period of time.
GRILLING
- Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
- Set the Temperature Control Knob to 220°C.
- When the Multi-cooker reaches the required temperature, line up the barbecue/food inside the Inner Pot. Turn the food once in a while.
- Once the food is cooked, remove from the Multi-cooker.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
SHABU-SHABU
- Place Inner Pot inside the Multi-cooker.
- Fill the pot with the desired amount of water or soup base for SHABU-SHABU.
- Set the Temperature Control Knob to 100°C.
- Let it boil.
- Put all the desired ingredients and seasoning.
- Enjoy.
- Turn OFF and unplug after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug and allow the Multi-cooker to cool off before cleaning.
- Wash the Inner Pot and Lid with soap and water using sponge. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratches. Wipe it dry.
- Do not immerse the Multi-cooker in water.
- Wipe the body with damp cloth.
- Occasionally wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Periodically ensure that there are no foreign objects stuck in the inner part of the multi-cooker. Remove them and wipe the surfaces with damp cloth.
- Inspect the electrical cord periodically to ensure that it is not damaged in any way.
