How do I assemble the stainless steel jar?

Ensure the blender is unplugged. Place the blade assembly into the jar support, then add the rubber packing on the inner edge. Attach the safety ring to the bottom of the jar, insert the jar support assembly, and turn clockwise until locked. Place the jar on the motor base, secure the lid, and ensure the safety ring is properly engaged.

Can I crush ice in this blender?

Yes. Always add water or liquid first, then use the pulse speed to crack the ice before selecting a desired speed. This prevents blade damage and ensures smooth blending.

What is the maximum operating time per cycle?

The maximum single operation time is 1 minute. After that, let the blender cool down before using again, especially if using high-speed settings.

What should I do if the blender stops suddenly?

This indicates the overload protection has activated due to motor temperature limit. Unplug the unit and let it cool down completely before resuming use. Check that the load is not too heavy.

How do I clean the motor base?

Unplug the unit. Wipe the motor base with a damp soft cloth. Never immerse the base in water or any liquid. For the switch area, use a damp cloth to clean around the groove, and work the switch back and forth to loosen residue.

How do I remove the blade assembly?

After unplugging, turn the jar upside down. Unscrew the blade assembly by turning it counter-clockwise. Handle the blades carefully as they are sharp.

Can I blend hot liquids?

The manual does not recommend blending hot liquids. Allow hot ingredients to cool to room temperature before blending to avoid pressure buildup and damage to the jar or lid.

What voltage and frequency does this blender use?

It operates on 230V a.c. 60Hz. Do not plug into outlets with different voltage to avoid damage.

Is the stainless steel jar dishwasher safe?

Hand washing is recommended. Wash the jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm soapy water, rinse well, and dry. The high heat of a dishwasher may degrade the rubber packing and safety ring.

Where can I get replacement parts?

Replacement parts such as blade assembly, rubber packing, and safety ring can be obtained from an Imarflex Authorized Service Center. Contact them for evaluation and repair.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest Imarflex Authorized Service Center.

ASSEMBLING THE STAINLESS STEEL JAR:

IMPORTANT: Your blender blades are subject to wear during normal use. Always inspect the jar base for nicks, chips or cracks. Always inspect blades for broken, bent or loose blades. Avoid using the jar or blades if damaged.

Contact the Imarflex Authorized Service Center to obtain evaluation and repair.

Make sure that the blender is unplugged. Place blender base on clean, dry surface to keep foreign particles from being pulled up into motor during operation.

1. Put the Blade Assembly (6) into the Jar Support (7).
2. Put the Rubber Packing (5) on the inner edge of the Blade Assembly (6).
3. Attach the Safety Ring (4) into the bottom of the Stainless Steel Jar (3).
4. Insert the assembled Jar Support into the bottom of the Stainless Steel Jar (3) and turn clockwise until Stainless Steel Jar (3) locks into place.
5. Make sure that the blender is switched OFF.
6. Place the Stainless Steel Jar with Blade Assembly on the Motor Base (8) and press down until securely engaged.
7. Put the Center Lid (1) on the Lid (2).
8. Secure the Lid (2) into the Stainless Steel Jar (3) and press down.

HOW TO USE

1. For initial use, wash glass jar with blade assembly thoroughly. "Please refer to cleaning and maintenance method #2".
2. Put the glass jar with blade assembly on the motor base.
3. Plug the unit into the convenience outlet.
4. Be sure to remove the seeds of the fruits/vegetables if needed.
5. Put the desired mixture.
6. Put the lid on the stainless steel jar and close securely. Place the center lid into the hole of the lid and push down to lock.
7. Press pulse to crack the ice and then press the desired button.
8. Additional ingredients can be added through opening in the center lid.
9. Maximum single operation should be up to 1 minute only.
10. After use switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

Note: This unit is designed with a safety feature. If the Safety Ring is not properly secure into the bottom of the stainless steel jar, this unit will not function

15 sec.	Program runs for: 5 seconds Low speed; 5 seconds Medium speed; and 5 seconds High speed.For fruit and yogurt or fruit and milk based drinks
30 sec.	Programs run: for 15 seconds Low speed; 10 seconds Medium speed; and 5 seconds High speed.Make drinks with a base of naturally soft/ripe fruits and vegetables or from vegetables which have been softened through cooking. Do not blend hard vegetables such as potatoes or carrots, unless cooked first. Add liquid to the fruits or vegetables to achieve the smoothie consistency.

Pulse	Blender works only when button is pressed, for ice crushing & short, powerful impulse movements
Fuzzy	Blender runs for: 1 second High speed; 1 second OFF; 2 seconds High speed; 1 second OFF; 3 seconds Low speed; then after a short stop, runs for 10 seconds Low speed; 5 seconds Medium speed; 5 seconds High speed; and 5 seconds Low speed.

NOTE:

• THE UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP WHEN MOTOR REACH THE TEMPERATURE LIMIT. UNPLUG THE UNIT THEN LET IT COOL.
• Some electric smell may be observed on initial use.

CAUTION: When using ice, always put water or liquid and use the pulse speed first before setting to desired speed.

USEFUL TIPS

To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions through the opening in the lid one by one.

When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.

For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, we recommend that you use the blender in pulse mode to prevent the blades from getting stuck.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Motor Base

1. Unplug the unit from the convenience outlet.

2. Wipe or clean the outside surface with a damp or soft cloth.

NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.

1. Thoroughly clean Speed Selector Switch so that it works freely. It will become sticky when in use. Use a damp cloth or sponge to flush and clean the groove around the water shielded switch. You may also lightly spray the surface around the switch with an all-purpose cleaner and work the switch back and forth a few times to loosen any dried residue under switch.

2. Polish with a soft cloth.

3. Always be sure to wring excess water out of cloth or sponge when cleaning around the controls or any electrical part.

Lid/Center Lid

Wash in warm soapy water. Rinse under clean running water and dry. Reassemble before use.

Method #1

1. After use, add warm water and a splash of vinegar to blender jar. Turn ON and let the blender work the liquid for about a minute. Pour out, rinse the blender jar well.

Method #2

1. Fill the blender jar half way with warm water, add a small amount of liquid dish detergent and turn the unit ON for about 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Rinse well.

Method #3

1. If blender was left sitting until there is dried, crusty food bits inside: fill with warm, soapy water (or vinegar water) and let sit for about 30 to 60 seconds. Empty water to about half and then blend for 30 second intervals until clean. (see pic. 1)

1. Turn OFF the unit and wait for the blade and motor to stop.

2. Always unplug the unit after every use.

3. Remove the blade assembly by turning it counter-clockwise.

4. Wash the rubber packing and jar support with soap and water.

5. Turn the glass jar upside down to remove excess water.

6. Wipe the glass jar and blade with soft cloth to dry.

7. Make sure to reassemble the unit properly before storing it.

8. Never leave food inside the blender jar for a long period of time.

9. Store the blender on a dry cool place.
