This child restraint system is manufactured in compliance with the requirements of Regulation No 129 of the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations (UN/ECE) — Uniform provisions concerning the approval of enhanced Child Restraint Systems used on board of motor vehicles (ECRS), the provisions of the Product safety Directive 2001/95/EU of the European Parliament and The Council as well as the Consumer Protection Law of Bulgarian Legislation.

Installation in the vehicle and securing the child in the car seat to be done only by adult!
The hard parts and the parts of the child restraint made of plastic should be located and installed so that when the vehicle is in normal use, they can not be trapped by a sliding seat or in a door of the vehicle.
Do not allow the safety belts of the car seat and the vehicle to be twisted, frayed or torn, latches and locks (buckles) must be always in good order and firmly fixed.
If you find uncertainty or defect in the structure, latches, straps or locking mechanisms of the car seat or ISOFIX attachments, discontinue usage until removal of the damaged parts and replacement with new ones.
✿ After a violent impact the car seat and belts may be damaged, therefore, it is recommended to replace the car seat with a new one.
✿ Never use a second hand child restraint. It may have suffered structural damage, which may make the child restraint extremely dangerous.
Do not use this car seat without its seat cover and do not replace it with a new one, unless supplied by the manufacturer. The fabric parts are integral parts of the restraint system and its safety features!
✿ Any luggage or other objects that could cause injury in the event of a collision must be well secured. Remove or secure at a safe distance from the seat and child any luggage that may cause injury in the event of a sudden stop or accident while driving.
Always check that the seat is firmly attached to the vehicle seat, even when you are not placing a child in it. A loose car seat, even without a child in it, can cause injury in the event of a collision.
Do not put additional pads except the ones supplied from the manufacturer!
Do not use spare parts and other components not supplied by the manufacturer. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for safety in the event that are used spare parts other than original.
- Keep the instructions for use in the space provided in the car seat or in the vehicle in which you are going to use the car seat.
Do not expose the car seat to direct sunlight to prevent the child from burning, deforming the car seat and especially the plastic parts.
The car seat does not replace the child's cot or bed. When a child needs a sleep, you have to place him/her in a suitable baby stroller, baby crib or bed.
Do not attach objects with long cords or strings on the car seat in order to avoid danger of suffocation!
❖ Never place the car seat on beds, couches or similar soft surfaces!
Do not allow children to play with the product!
Do not remove stickers and warnings – they contain important information!
The packaging of the product must be kept out of the reach of children at the time of and after unpacking in order to avoid the risk of strangulation!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM

IMPORTANT!

• Follow exactly the instructions and sequence of installation steps and use of the product described in the text and figures of this manual.
• Check the security of fixing after each operation!
  • ALWAYS CHECK THE SECURITY OF FIXING OF THE SAFETY BELTS!
  • After each installation make sure that the seat belts are not twisted and they are in the correct position.

PREPARATION OF ISOFIX

1. If your vehicle is not equipped with ISOFIX guide (02), insert ISOFIX guide (2) into the ISOFIX anchor (01) of the vehicle.
   Note: The ISOFIX anchor (01), is located between the backrest and passenger seat.
2. Press the second button (3A), then press the ISOFIX release button (3B) and push them together rearward until you hear "click".

ADJUSTING OF 5-POINT HARNESS AND HEARDREST

1. Press the button for adjusting the shoulder belts (04) and pull the shoulder belts (05) to you.
   Note: Pull the shoulder belts (05), not the pads (06).
2. Press the handle for adjusting the headrest (07) and at the same time move the headrest to the desired position (08).
3. IMPORANT! The height of the headrest (08) must be such that the shoulder belts (05) are at the level of the child's shoulders (see fig.6).

ADUSTING THE HEADREST

Height of child: 75-150 cm

Note: Before starting to adjust the position of headrest, remove 5-point harness from the car seat (See section 4 „Removing 5-point harness from the car seat“).

1. Press the handle for adjusting the headrest (07) and at the same time move the headrest (08) upwards or downwards to reach the desired position. Release the handle (07) and the headrest will automatically fix in position (08). You will hear "click" when it is fixed.
2. The headrest (08) is in correct position when the diagonal belt of the vehicle (10) passes through the child's shoulder and the distance between the child's shoulder and the lowest edge of the headrest is about 2 fingers, as is shown in Fig.7

ADJUSTING THE RECLINE OF THE CAR SEAT

• For car seat "FORWARD FACING" there are 4 recline positions of the seat. In position "1" the car seat is the most upright position.
• For car seat „REARWARD FACING“ the seat has only one position - it must be placed and used only in the most lying position.

Press the button for adjusting the recline (11) in direction, shown on the figure, to release the seat (12). Move the seat to the desired position, release the button (11) and shake the seat slightly until the selected position is locked automatically.

ROTATION/CHANGE OF THE DIRECTION OF THE CAR SEAT

Press the seat rotation lever (13). Rotate the seat 360^ to the desired position and release the button (13).

Rotate the seat to lock automatically in the selected position.

CAUTION! WHEN TRAVELLING, YOU CAN ONLY USE THE CAR SEAT IN "FORWARD FACING" OR "REARWARD FACING" POSITION.

Always make sure that the seat is firmly fixed in the selected position by trying to turn it in both directions.

1. INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT IN "REARWARD FACING" POSITION

1.1 Prepare the ISOFIX connectors.
1.2 Make sure the 5-point harness is correctly installed.
1.3 Make sure the 5-point harness is correctly adjusted.
1.4 Adjust the seat in most recline position.
1.5 Make sure the car seat in "REARWARD FACING" POSITION and the mechanism for rotating the seat is fixed.
1.6 Make sure the car seat is in most lying position and place the car seat on the vehicle seat, so it is in position "REARWARD FACING" POSITION (in the direction opposite to the traffic) - fig.11.
1.7 Insert the ISOFIX connectors of the car seat (15) in ISOFIX attachments of the vehicle, until you heat "click" sound and the indicators (16) show "green" color. (fig. 11 and 12).
CAUTION! The ISOFIX connectors (15) are fixed, when both indicators (16) are completely green.
1.8 Push the car seat, until it is leaning against the backrest of passenger seat (fig. 12 and 13)
1.9 Installation of Top tether:

• Take out the top tether from the bag. Press the button for adjusting the Top Tether, to release the belt (fig.14).

• Insert the top tether strap into the belt guide slot (17) and tighten the strap (fig.15).
• Hook the snap hook (18) onto the top tether anchorage point, recommended in the vehicle manual.

Note: Look for sign

- Tighten the free end of the top tether, until the indicator shows green. (fig.17)

1.10 Securing the child in the car seat with 5-point harness:

- Press the red button (19), to release the buckle, press the button for adjusting the shoulder belts (04) and pull out the shoulder belts (05). Note: Pull the shoulder belts (05), not the pads (06). (fig.18).

• Place your child in the seat.
• Get together the both metal latches of the shoulder belts and insert them in the buckle. When it is fixed, you will hear a "click" sound. (fig.19, 20, 21).

CAUTION!

ALWAYS BEFORE TRAVELLING:

√ Make sure ISOFIX connectors are securely fixed to the ISOFIX attachments of the vehicle and both indicators are completely “green”.
√ Make sure the car seat is placed close to the backrest of the passenger seat.
√ Make sure the top tether is tightened and the indicator is completely "green".
√ Make sure the 5-point harness of the car seat is fitted snugly to the child without pressing and the belts are not twisted.
√ Make sure the shoulder belts are in correct position on the child's shoulders and they are not twisted.

2 INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT IN "FORWARD FACING" POSITION

2.1.1 Prepare the ISOFIX connectors.
2.1.2 Make sure the 5-point harness is correctly installed (see p. Installation of 5-point harness of the car seat).
2.1.3 Make sure the 5-point harness is correctly adjusted.
2.1.4 When the car seat is in "FORWARD FACING" position, there are 4 recline position. Adjust the seat in the desired position and make sure the seat is fixed in position.
2.1.5 Make sure the car seat is installed in "FORWARD FACING" position and the mechanism for rotating the seat is fixed.
2.1.6 Place the car seat on the vehicle seat, so it is in "FORWARD FACING" position (in the direction of travel) - fig.30.
2.1.7 Insert the ISOFIX connectors of the car seat (15) into the ISOFIX attachments of the vehicle, until you hear a "click" sound and the indicators (16) show „green“ (fig. 30 and 31).

CAUTION! The ISOFIX connectors (15) are secured, when both indicators (16) are completely green.

2.1.8 Push the car seat, until it is leaning against the backrest of passenger seat (fig. 32). Make sure the seat is fixed by trying to pull it out.

2.1.9 Installation of top tether:

• Take out the top tether from the bag. Press the button for adjusting the Top Tether, to release the belt (fig.33).

- Hook the snap hook (18) onto the top tether anchorage point, recommended in the vehicle manual.

2.1.10 Securing the child in the car seat with 5-point harness

Repeat the steps from item 1.10 to secure the child in the car seat (fig. 36).

CAUTION!

ALWAYS BEFORE TRAVELLING:

√ Make sure ISOFIX connectors are securely fixed to the ISOFIX attachments of the vehicle and both indicators are completely “green”.
√ Make sure the car seat is placed close to the backrest of the passenger seat.
√ Make sure the top tether is tightened and the indicator is completely "green".
√ Make sure the 5-point harness of the car seat is fitted snugly to the child without pressing and the belts are not twisted.
√ Make sure the shoulder belts are in correct position on the child's shoulders and they are not twisted.

2.2 HEIGHT OF THE CHILD: 100-150 cm

INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT WITH 3-POINT SAFETY BELT

2.2.1 Push back the ISOFIX connectors and fold the top tether.
2.2.2 Remove the 5-point harness of the car seat (See section "REMOVAL OF THE 5-POINT HARNESS OF THE CAR SEAT").
2.2.3 Adjust the headrest to the correct position according to the height of the child (See section "ADJUSTING THE HEADREST").
2.2.4 When the car seat is placed in "FORWARD FACING" position, it has 4 recline positions. For i-Size ISOFIX class B2 is suitable only the second position. Adjust the recline position of the car seat and make sure the car seat is fixed in the desired position.
2.2.5 Make sure the car seat is installed in "FORWARD FACING" position and the mechanism for rotating the seat is fixed.
2.2.6 Place the car seat on the vehicle seat, so it is in "FORWARD FACING" position (in the direction of travel) and place the child in the car seat (fig.40).
2.2.7 Pull out the vehicle belt and place it around the child. Lock the buckle (26). You will hear "click" sound (fig.40 and 41).
2.2.8 Place the lap belt (28) from the side of the buckle (26) and the lower part of the diagonal belt (27) under the elbow of the child and through the guide of the red belt (29). Make sure the lap belt is placed low down, so the pelvis of the child is firmly engaged. (fig.41).

CAUTION! Make sure the vehicle belt is not twisted and is correctly fixed in the buckle. (fig.42)

2.2.9 Pass the other side of lap belt (28) in the opposite side through the guide of red belt (30). (fig.40).

2.2.10 Pass the other side of the diagonal belt (27) through the guide (31) of the headrest (08). Make sure the belt is not twisted and pass over the shoulder of the child, not in front his neck. (fig. 41 and 42).

Note: If necessary, you can adjust the position of the headrest, to ensure the correct position of the belt on the shoulders of the child.

CAUTION!

ALWAYS BEFORE TRAVELLING:

√ Make sure the car seat is placed on the vehicle seat in "FORWARD FACING" position (in the direction of travel).
√ Make sure that the diagonal belt passes over the child's shoulder and not in front of the child's neck.
√ Make sure the shoulder belts are in correct position on the child's shoulders and they are not twisted.

3. REMOVAL OF THE CAR SEAT

3.1 Press the second button (3A) and the ISOFIX release button (3B). Push back the ISOFIX connectors, to release the car seat from the attachments of the vehicle seat.
3.2 Press the release button of the Top tether strap to release the strap and unlock from the vehicle.
3.3 When you use the car seat for child with height from 100 to 150 cm and installation with 3-point belt of the vehicle, first release the buckle of the vehicle belt, then remove the belt.

4. REMOVAL OF THE 5-POINT HARNESS OF THE CAR SEAT

4.1 Loosen the 5-point harness of the car seat (fig.46).
4.2 Fix the headrest in appropriate position (fig.47).
Rotate the car seat and move the headrest so that the back is facing you.
4.3 Unzip (32) the rear seat cover (fig.48).
4.4 Remove the shoulder belts (34) from the joint plate (33) - (fig.49 and fig.50).
Turn the car seat around, so front part is facing you.
4.5 Pull out the shoulder belts (05) and the soft pads (06) from the slots (38) in front of the headrest (fig.51).
4.6 Unlock the buckle (19) of the 5-point harness (fig.52).
4.7 Lift the fabric cover (39) and place the buckle latches on seat back for each side, then place back the fabric cover (fig. 53).
4.8 Turn the metal plate of the crotch belt (41) and pass it though the slot (40). Remove the buckle (fig. 54).
4.9 Put the metal joint (33), the soft shoulder pads (06), buckle (19) and the crotch pad (43) together in the additional compartment of the upholstery (35) for the next use. (Fig. 55).

5. INSTALLATION OF 5-POINT HARNESS OF THE CAR SEAT

5.1 Take out the metal joint (33), soft shoulder pads (06), buckle (19) and soft crotch pad (43) from the additional compartments of the upholstery (35) - (fig. 56).

5.2 Place the buckle (19) on the soft pad of the crotch belt (43)-(fig. 57).

5.3 Turn the buckle of the crotch belt (41) and insert in the slot (40) - (fig. 57).

5.4 Lift the fabric cover (39) and the take the buckles latches (20), then place back the fabric cover (fig. 58).

5.5 Connect the two metal ends of the shoulder straps (20) and insert them into the buckle (19) until you hear a "click" sound (Fig. 59).

CAUTION! Make sure the belts are not twisted!

5.6 Adjust the headrest to the appropriate position (fig.60).

5.7 Place the soft pads on the shoulder belts (fig. 61).

5.8 Thread the shoulder belts trough the slots of headrest (38) - (fig. 61 and 62).

Turn the car seat, so the rear part is facing you.

5.9 Unzip (32) the rear seat cover (fig.63 and 64).

5.10 Attach the shoulder belts (34) on the metal joint (33) - (fig.65).

CAUTION! Make sure the belts are not twisted!

5.11 Zip up the rear seat cover (32) - (fig.66).

6. BUCKLE OF 5-POINT HARNESS

CAUTION! The malfunction of the buckle can lead to serious injury of the child! :

• Do not use oil or other lubricant on any part of the buckle.
• Check and clean the buckle from traces of food or other small parts, which are the reason for malfunction of the buckle.

Signs for malfunction of the buckle:

• Metal latches of shoulder belts release slowly, when the red button is pressed.
• The metal latches of shoulder straps do not lock into the buckle.
• There is no "click" sound at closing the metal latches in the buckle.
  • The metal latches are difficult to place in the buckle, ie. you will feel resistance when placing it.
• The buckle opens only when extreme force is applied.

To clean or remove the buckle from the belt:

• Remove the buckle (fig. 67 and fig.68).
• Put the buckle in warm water with mild soap for at least 1 hour. Rinse the buckle and allow it to dry well before placing it back on the car seat (Fig. 69).

7. REMOVAL OF THE FABRIC COVER

1. Move the headrest to the highest position (Fig. 70).
2. First remove the fabric cover from the headrest.
3. Remove the headrest from the rest of the car seat.

8. REFITTING THE FABRIC COVER

To put the fabric cover repeat the above-mentioned steps in reverse order.

8. INTERNAL CUSHION

Use the internal cushion (46) and soft pad (47) for children with height form 40 to 87 cm (fig.72).

Use the soft pad (47) for children with height from 40 to 105cm (fig.72).

9. FUNCTIONAL REVIEW

That child restrain is classified as "universal" for general use in vehicles. The vehicle must be capable of being fitted with a "universal" child restraint system. In case of doubt, consult the manufacturer or dealer of the security system.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Clean the fabrics, plastic parts and metal parts with damp cotton cloth or sponge and mild soap
  ✿ Fabric cover and soft pads may be hand washed at 30 °C using mild detergent!
  Do not bleach! Do not tumble dry! Do not machine wash! Do not iron!
  Do not use abrasive, bleach or other aggressive detergents.
  ❖ Always after cleaning leave the car seat fully dry and after that use it or store it.
  ◆ Harnesses must be cleaned with damp cloth and mild soap!
  Do not wet or remove the stickers. They contain important information!
  Always store your car seat indoors – on dry and clean place. Do not expose to direct environment influence - sun, rain, moisture and high temperature intervals.
  Please, contact your authorized dealer for problems connected with the use or repair.
