- This appliance is for indoor/household use only. Do not use outdoors.
- This appliance is not designed for commercial or industrial use; it is for household use only.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be closely supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Only use the appliance out of the reach of children because there are sharp blades inside the bottle. Store the blade parts safely out of reach of children.
- Do not operate this appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged. If either is damaged, return it to Duronic for service or repair by a professional technician.
- Never try to replace the parts and repair the unit by yourself. Do not modify the appliance in any way that is not described in the instructions for use. The machine contains live parts. Repairs may only be carried out by Duronic, using original spare parts and accessories.
- If an extension lead/cable is needed to reach the appliance to a mains power socket that is too far away out of reach of the machine's accompanying cable, please ensure that:
- the marked electrical rating of the extension lead is at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
- the extension lead is of the grounded type.
- no other appliance is plugged into the same extension lead.
- the extension cable is safely positioned to avoid it being pulled on by children or animals or being tripped over.

• Always operate the blender on a dry, smooth, even and stable surface. Do not place the food processor on or next to a hot surface.
- Position the blender and its power cable to the rear of the work surface, well out of reach of children.
- Disconnect the mains plug from the power socket if you are going to be absent for long periods.
- Never disconnect the plug by pulling on the power cable.
- Unplug from the mains plug outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated using an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not use the blender for anything other than blending food.
- Do not operate the food processor with wet hands.
- Do not use any attachments which are not listed in this manual. The use of any additional attachments are not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause a risk of injury.
- The jug and parts are not dishwasher safe – hand wash only or use the preset Auto Clean function.
- Do not put large pieces of food in the blender. Chop or slice fruits and vegetables before blending them.
- If using ice cubes in the blender, ensure that there is sufficient liquid in the container to keep the mixture loose and do not overload with ice.
- Never process hot or boiling liquids. Allow them to cool before processing.
• To clean, wipe the motor unit with a well-wrung wet cloth. Do not submerge it in water or other liquids. Wash the attachments, cups and lids with warm

water and soap. Dry properly before placing onto the machine.
- Allow moving parts to come to a stop and turn off the machine before changing or cleaning accessories.
- Do not switch on the blender if the blender is empty or use the blender for more than the suggested runtime as this can overheat the motor.
- The blades have very sharp edges. Take care when handling or cleaning them.
- Never use harsh, abrasive or caustic cleaners to clean this appliance.

Before First Use
- Before first use, remove all packaging and set aside.
- Clean the jug, grinder, bottles and blades for the first time as per the instructions in 'Cleaning and Maintenance'.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp, well rung cloth and dry.
- Place the blender motor unit on a flat, dry surface and located close to an electrical mains socket.

How to Use
Using the Jug
- Make sure the control dial is turned to the OFF position and the blender is on a stable, flat surface away from the edge.
- Insert the jug and turn clockwise to lock into position.
- Add your ingredients into the jug.
- Close the lid on top of the jug and use the clip on the handle to lock. The blender will not turn on unless the jug and lid are locked into place.
- Plug in the blender at a mains power socket.
- Turn the control dial to the ON position. The dial will click and the blender lights will show.
- Either:
- turn the knob to your desired speed, or:
- select a preset mode button.
Note: If you need to add food into the blender while it is in use, remove the Measuring Cup Insert on the top of the lid and add your ingredients. You can use the cup to measure out liquids.
- When your food has reached reached the desired consistancey, turn the dial to the OFF position and unplug the appliance.
- Twist the jug anticlockwise to remove from the base.

CAUTION:
- Do not place any body part inside of the blender when you are using it.
- Turn the appliance off and unplug when not in use.
- Do not overfill the jug.
- Never add very hot food into the jug. This may brake the jug.
- Follow the Runtime to prevent overheating.

What can I use the Grinder for?
The grinder can be used to make a variety of foods and ingredients;
- Coffee Beans.
- Spices: Grind whole spices such as peppercorns, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and cinnamon sticks.
• Herbs: Finely chop fresh herbs like parsley, coriander, basil, and mint. - Nuts: Grind dried nuts like almonds, walnuts, or peanuts to make nut flours or make nut butters.
• Grains: Grind rice, wheat, and oats. - Dried fruits: Grind dried fruits like dates or raisins to make a paste for energy balls, bars, or as a natural sweetener in recipes.
- Seeds: Grind seeds such as flaxseeds, chia seeds, and sesame seeds.
- Breadcrumbs.
- Dips and spreads: Blend ingredients for dips and spreads like hummus, pesto, or tahini.
- Meat.
- Eggs.
Using the Grinder
- Make sure the control dial is turned to the OFF position.
- Insert the grinder and turn clockwise to lock into position.
- Add your ingredients into the grinder.
- Plug in the blender at a mains power socket.
- Turn the control dial to the ON position. The dial will click and the blender lights will show.
- Hold down the Pulse button until you reach the desired consistency.
If the ingredients stick to the wall of the chopper bowl, loosen them by adding liquid or by using a spatula. Always let the appliance cool down after chopping.

Preset Modes
There are 4 Preset Mode Buttons available.
- Smoothie: This mode is perfect for blending smoothies.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
• 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
• 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
• 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy such as almond, soy, or coconut)
• 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness) - Ice cubes (optional, if you prefer a colder smoothie)
Instructions:
- Peel the banana and slice it into chunks.
- Wash the strawberries and remove the stems.
- Place the banana chunks, strawberries, yogurt, milk, and honey or maple syrup (if using) into the blender.
- If you prefer a colder smoothie, add a few ice cubes to the blender as well.
- Blend all the ingredients using the Smoothie button. This mode will automatically stop when finished. If you wish to stop early, simply press the Smoothie button again, or turn the dial to the OFF position.
- You can adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more honey, milk, or yogurt if desired.
- Once you're satisfied with the consistency and taste, pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
- Remember to turn off and unplug the blender after use.

2. Auto Clean
Select this mode for easy cleaning or pre-rincing the jug.
- Add warm water and a small amount of dish soap to the jug.

CAUTION:
- Do not add hot or boiling water as this could break the jug.

Do not fill above the marked capacity.

Secure the jug and lid onto the motor unit. Make sure the jug and lid are locked into place.
- Press the autoclean button to start the cleaning cycle. The blender will run for a set period. Allow the blender to run through the autoclean cycle until it automatically shuts off. During this time, the blender will agitate the water to clean the pitcher and blades.
- Once the autoclean cycle is complete, carefully pour out the soapy water and rinse the blender pitcher and blades thoroughly with clean water.
- After rinsing, dry the blender pitcher and any removable parts with a clean towel or allow them to air dry completely before reassembling the blender.
- Once the jug is clean and dry, store it in a dry place until its next use.

CAUTION:
- Please wait 10 minutes between using the autoclean function and blending to prevent the motor from overheating.

3. Ice Crush
Use the Ice Crush button for crushed ice in drinks like frappes, cocktails, soft drinks, and juice. Experiment with an icy slush dessert. Use the ice for storing seafood to keep it fresh.
This mode is more optimised for ice than the standard blending mode, enabling easier blitzing.
- Make sure the blender is clean and dry before use.
- Place the desired amount of ice cubes into the blender. Do not to overload the blender beyond its capacity.
- Ensure the blender lid is securely in place to prevent any ice from escaping during blending. Do not open the Measuring Cup Insert during opperation.
- Turn the machine, on then press the Ice Crush button to start crushing ice.

CAUTION:
- The Ice Crush mode on this blender is powerful and will produce loud noises during operation when crushing ice. Please be advised that the noise level and forcefulness of the ice crushing action may startle users.

Ensure that the blender is securely placed on a stable surface before activating the ice crushing mode.

Keep an eye on the ice to ensure it reaches the desired consistency. You may need to stop the blender early. To stop the blender, simply press the Ice Crush button again or turn the dial to the OFF position.

Turn off the blender and unplug. Carefully remove the lid. Transfer the crushed ice to your glass or serving container.

CAUTION:
- Ice shards may be sharp. Take care when handling ice.

4. Pulse
Using the pulse button on a blender gives you more control over the blending process, allowing you to achieve the desired texture without over-processing the ingredients.
Press briefly for short bursts or press and hold for longer blending. The blender will stop when you release the button.
- Ensure the blender is clean and dry, and that it is plugged into a power source.
- Place the ingredients you want to blend into the blender. Make sure not to overfill the blender beyond the marked capacity.
- Locate the Pulse button on the blender control panel. Press the Pulse button briefly and release it immediately. Each press will activate the blender for a short burst of blending action.
- As you press the pulse button, observe the consistency of the ingredients. Pulse in short bursts until the desired texture is achieved. This allows you to control the blending process more precisely than using a continuous blending setting.
- If the ingredients are not blending evenly or if there are large chunks remaining, pause and scrape down the sides with a spatula. You can also adjust the speed or duration of the pulses as needed to achieve the desired result.
- Continue pulsing the blender until the ingredients are blended to your liking. Be careful not to over-process the ingredients, especially if you're blending delicate or easily overworked ingredients like nuts or certain fruits.
- Once the ingredients are blended to your satisfaction, turn off the blender and carefully remove the lid. Use the blended mixture immediately in your recipe or transfer it to a serving container.
Using the pulse button gives you more control over the blending process, allowing you to achieve the perfect texture for your recipes. Experiment with different pulse durations and ingredient combinations to find what works best for you.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Do not immerse the main base unit in water or any other liquids, nor rinse under the tap. Use a damp, well rung, soft cloth to clean these parts.
- Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, gasoline, or acetone to clean the appliance.
- Cleaning of the appliance, its parts, and accessories is easiest immediately after use.
• After each use, disassemble the blender and clean the components thoroughly. The base that houses the blade on the jug can be removed for easy cleaning.
- Wash the jug, grinder, and sports bottles in warm, soapy water and dry them well. Parts are not dishwasher safe.
- Use the Auto Clean function for easy cleaning. Use water and add a small amount of dish soap. Do not fill above the marked capacity.

CAUTION: Please be very careful when handling the blades as they are very sharp.
Maintenance:
• Wind the power cord loosely around the motor unit.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or other heat sources.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting
