SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

- Check the blanket carefully before each use.

- If you notice visible damage on the blanket, do not use and return to the manufacturer or dealer.

- The blanket can only be operated with the controller (SS18) supplied.

- Before plugging the blanket to the power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.

- During use, the controller switch and cable must not be placed on or under the blanket or be covered in any way.

- Neither pierce the blanket with, nor attach safety pins or other spiky or sharp objects to the blanket.

- Do not use the electric blanket with the infirm, infants or persons insensitive to heat.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

- Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.

- This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.

- Never touch a blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug the blanket from the mains outlet immediately.

- Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.

- Never carry, pull or turn the blanket by the mains cable and do not let the cable get tangled.

- Do not use the blanket when wet and only use it in dry environments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).

- The controller and cable must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.

- If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the blanket by yourself. Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized service specialist or other suitably qualified personnel.

- If the power supply cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by, an authorised service specialist or by qualified electricians. In order to prevent hazards, always send the blanket to the service centre.

- Let the blanket cool down completely before folding and storing it. Do not fold it too tight.

- When not in use, store the blanket as follows:

- Store the blanket in its original packaging and keep it in a clean, dry place.

- Fold the power cable carefully to avoid cable breaks.

- Do not crease the blanket by placing items on top of it during storage.

- Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor before using the blanket.

- The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.

- The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not correctly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.

OPERATION

Before each use, always inspect the product to ensure there is no damage to the power cord, controller, or the Pad.

Press the On/Off button on the controller. The indicator (LCD) and the indicator of the auto power off (LCD) light up. After a few minutes, you will be able to feel the blanket warming significantly. If you need a higher temperature setting, press the button and the switch moves to the next 2-stage, or to the maximum heat setting 10-stage. If the heating blanket is too hot for you, please press the button to return the gear to the 2nd or 1st step. After a while, the heating blanket will cool down. Please set the gear to 1 level before falling asleep or using it for a long time.

Press the button to adjust the product's automatic shutdown time, the automatic shutdown is 1-10 hours cycle adjustable. If you want to continue using the product after the automatic shutdown, please press the button, and then return to the desired gear and automatic shutdown time. Turn the product off by pressing the button and unplug it when it is not in use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning the blanket, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down completely or for at least ten minutes.
  • The blanket is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect the plug and remove the cable from the blanket.
  • You may machine wash, 30^ C.
  • Do not use hair dryer to dry this product, have to dry naturally, stretch the blanket out on a flat surface.
  • Rinse the blanket several times to remove all the detergent.
  • Store the blanket in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
  • Only use the blanket once it is completely dry.
  • You may also wash the blanket in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30^ C with low mechanical action and spin. It’s advisable to wash it by hand in order to prolong the life of the product.
