How do I connect the DVDO C6-1-W to my computer?

Connect the device to your computer using the provided USB cable. The device will appear as a UVC (USB Video Class) camera and UAC (USB Audio Class) microphone. Open your video conferencing software and select 'DVDO C6-1' as the camera and microphone.

Can I use the C6-1-W without a computer?

Yes. Connect the device to a monitor via HDMI. The camera will output video directly to the monitor, and the built-in microphone and speaker will work for audio. Use the remote control to adjust settings.

How does the auto framing feature work?

Auto framing uses face detection to automatically adjust the zoom and pan to keep all participants in the frame. You can enable or disable it via the remote control menu under 'Setup > Auto Framing'. It intelligently sizes the frame based on the number of people detected.

What is the maximum microphone pickup distance?

The built-in 6 MEMS microphone array can pick up clear audio from up to 6 meters away. For larger rooms, you can connect an external expansion microphone via the RJ45 port.

How do I mute the microphone?

Press the mute button on the infrared remote control. The indicator light on the device will turn solid red to indicate mute is active. Press again to unmute.

Can I connect external microphones or speakers?

Yes. For external microphones, use the 3.5mm LINE IN jack or the RJ45 expansion mic port. For external speakers, use the 3.5mm LINE OUT jack. When connected, the device automatically switches audio input or output to the external device.

What batteries does the remote control use?

The remote control requires two CR2032 3V lithium coin cell batteries. These are not included in the package. Insert them with the positive side up.

How do I clean the lens and body?

Use a soft dry lint-free cloth for the lens. If very dirty, use a cloth slightly dampened with diluted neutral detergent. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents, as they may damage the surface. For the body, use a soft dry cloth.

What video formats are supported?

HDMI output supports up to 4KP30 and 1080P60. USB output supports 4KP30, 1080P60, and lower resolutions. Supported compression formats include MJPEG, YUY2, H.264, H.265, and NV12.

How do I reset the device to factory defaults?

Press the 'Menu' button on the remote control, navigate to 'Restore Default', and select 'Yes'. Note that color style and video format settings will not be restored. The device will reboot with default settings.

Installation:

1) Do not rotate the camera head violently, otherwise it may cause mechanical failure; 2
) This product should be placed on a stable desktop or other horizontal surface. Do not install the product obliquely, otherwise it may display inclined image; 3
) Ensure there are no obstacles within rotation range of the holder.
4) Do not power on before completely installation.

1.3 Video Output

1. USB: Connect device to PC with USB cable and open the video software to select device to output.
2. HDMI: Connect device to monitor with HDMI cable, and then select the correct input source on the monitor to output.

With all-in-one design, this device has 4K UHD camera, microphone array, high fidelity speaker and electric privacy cover. Boasting powerful functions like face recognition, voice localization, voice tracking, and intelligent noise reduction, this product could automatically adjust the image size according to the number of participants to present the optimal frame. It can also detect the speaker position in real time and lock the target while having a close-up, which allows users to have hands-free operation. This device has 6 array microphones composed of MEMS microphones, and it can also be matched with external cascading microphone and advanced 3A audio algorithm, you will have an exceptional full-duplex communication experience.

4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

4.1 Maintenance

1) If the camera will not be used for a long time, please turn off the power switch.
2) Use a soft cloth or lotion-free tissue to clean the camera body.
3) Use a soft dry lint-free cloth to clean the lens. If the camera is very dirty, clean it with a diluted neutral detergent. Do not use any type of solvent or harsh detergent, which may damage the surface.

4.2 Troubleshooting

1) No image

a. Check whether the power cord is connected, voltage is OK, POWER lamp is lit.
b. Check whether the camera can "self-test" after startup
c. Check that the rotary dial on rear work normally
d. Check that the HDMI cable is connected correctly

2) Image is shaky or vibrating.

Check that the video output, video monitor cable work normally.

3) Remote controller does not control the camera

a. Check that the batter of remote control is placed properly and full of power

b. Check that the working statue of the device is normal

c. Check whether the menu has been exited. Only after exiting the menu, the remote control can work normally; if the webpage outputs an image, the menu will not be displayed, then the menu will automatically exit and remote control can work on camera after 30 seconds without any operation
