Why isn't my plug connecting to Wi-Fi?

Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz network (not 5 GHz). Also, check that the plug is in pairing mode (indicator light flashes quickly) and that your router is not blocking the connection.

How do I reset the plug to factory settings?

Press and hold the power button for about 5-10 seconds until the indicator light rapidly flashes. This will reset the device and enter pairing mode.

Can I schedule the plug to turn on/off automatically?

Yes, the app allows you to set multiple schedules, timers, and countdowns for each outlet.

Does the plug support voice control?

Yes, it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You need to enable the Smart Life skill in your voice assistant app.

What is the maximum power rating?

• Search for, and download / install "Smart Life" App on your phone or tablet.
• Open the App, and it will ask you to register your device. Select your country, enter your email, get Verification Code and input your favorite password to confirm.

• Plug the Wi-Fi Smart Socket into a mains outlet and turn on the outlet power switch.
• The LED should be green.

Where Not to Install Your Wi-Fi Smart Socket

Do not install the Wi-Fi Smart Socket in wet or damp areas such as bathrooms and laundries.

CONFIGURATION

Press the on/off button on the Wi-Fi smart socket. The LED will rapidly flash green.

Note: If the LED does not flash, try resetting the device (see Reset below)

Auto Scan:

Under LED flash green and Bluetooth works, connection automatically when open smart-life APP.

  • Unplug the Wi-Fi smart socket from the mains outlet.

• Press and hold the Manual Control Button until the LED indicator flashes quickly (between 5 s and 10 s).
• Follow the steps above in Configuration to set up the device.

Change Device Name

• Tap Device List to see a list of connected devices.
• Tap Modify Device Name and enter a new name for your Wi-Fi Smart Socket.

Note: If the Wi-Fi Smart Socket is going to be controlled by Amazon Echo™, choose an unambiguous, clear sounding name.

Share Devices

• In Profile, tap Device Sharing.
- Tap Add.
- Select the device to share.
- Enter the telephone number or email address of the person you want to share with.

Schedules can be added to turn devices on or off at preset times and days of the week.

The schedules can be once or repeat on certain days of the week.

To activate a schedule:

• From the Devices screen, tap the Smart Socket, then select Schedule.
• Tap Add Schedule.
• Set up the desired Schedule.

Firmware Update

New features may be added to the firmware embedded in your Wi-Fi smart socket.

To check for updates to firmware:

1. Tap Info.
2. Tap Check for Firmware Update.

Remove Device

1. To remove the device from the application list, tap Info (●●●) at the upper right-hand corner of the application.
2. Tap Remove Device to remove the device.
