How do I clean the N'oveen MUH242 humidifier?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the tank and rinse with fresh water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. Replace the cotton filter every 3-4 months.

What type of water should I use?

Use purified or distilled water with hardness less than 5.4 mEq/l. Water temperature should be between 19-30°C. Avoid using tap water to prevent white dust.

Why is there no mist coming out?

Check if the water tank is empty and refill. Ensure the device is turned on by pressing the button. If the auto shut-off timer has engaged (after 6 hours), press the button again. Also check if the filter is clogged.

How do I replace the cotton filter?

Turn the filter housing towards the unlocked padlock symbol to open. Pull out the old filter and insert a new one. Pay attention to the lower spring during replacement. Replace every 3-4 months.

Can I add essential oils or perfumes?

No, do not add fragrance oils or perfumes as they can damage the device and affect health.

How do I change the LED light color?

Long press the function button to cycle through colors. A second long press fixes the current color. A third long press turns off the LED.

What is the power adapter requirement?

Use a USB power adapter with 5V, 1A output. The adapter is not included. You can also power it from a computer USB port.

How long does it run on a full tank?

At maximum mist output (50 ml/h), the 280 ml tank will last about 5.6 hours. However, the device has a default auto shut-off after 6 hours, so it may stop earlier if not reset.

Is the humidifier safe for pets?

Yes, but keep the device out of reach of pets to avoid tipping. Use only fresh water, and do not add any chemicals.

What does the red LED indicator mean?

When connected to USB power, the red LED indicates the device is powered on. For models with water level sensor (not MUH242), a flashing red indicates low water. For MUH242, it simply shows power status.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

WARNING! When using any electrical appliances, always take the following precautions. Read and remember instructions before you start to use a humidifier.

• Do not immerse or contact the humidifi er and power cord in water or other liquid. Do not switch on or switch off the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• Turn off the humidifier when filling up or emptying the water from the tank.
• Do not repair your humidifier by yourself. Contact the nearest service center.
• The humidifier must be on a stable and horizontal surface. For additional security, if the surface is wood or other material which is not waterproofed extra padding is advised.
• Humidifier is intended only to increase the humidity. Should be filled with fresh water only.
• Do not fill the humidifier through the dispenser.
• To avoid white coating, you must use the water with hardness of less than 5.4 mEq/l.
• Use of purified or distilled water recommended.
• Do not fill with hot or cold water in the water tank (water temperature should be in the range 19-30°C).
• Do not tilt or turn humidifier during operation.
• Do not use a humidifier in the vicinity of heaters and other heat sources.
• The minimum distance from the humidifier to the wall should be at least 10 cm, and no less than 1 meter to the ceiling.
• Add water before use, do not use the humidifier without water.
• Do not add fragrance oils or perfumes.
• This product is not intended for use by children under 6 years of age.

FUNCTIONS

Mist spray button1st single press to start continuous spray mode ; 2nd single press change to intermittent mist mode(spray 3s and pause 2s). 3rd single press to turn off mist mode.

MUH240/242:

Operating time: By default, the humidifier is set to auto shut off after 6 hours, restart with the button to activate continuous humidification mode (if there is enough water in the tank).

→MUH240/242/260/261:

USB power Port: Use the supplied USB cable to power the device. You can use a 5V, 1A USB power adapter (not included).

LED backlight function : 1st long press function button to start colors changing light(start with warm light). 2nd long press to fix current color 3rd long press to turn off LED light.

→MUH360:

USB charging port: Use the supplied USB cable to charge the device. You can use a 5V, 1A USB power adapter (not included).

Charging current: 1A

Charging time: about. 3,5 hours.

Fully charged working time: approx. 5 hours (continuous mist spray), approx. 7 hours (intermittent mist spray)

INDICATOR LED LIGHT

Power: indicator lights red when device is connected to USB 5V power supply.

MUH260/261/360:

Lack of water indicator: When the water level is below the stylus pin, the red LED light will flash 3 times then shutdown.

→MUH360:

Power: the indicator turns red when the device is charged. The indicator blinks red when the device is connected to USB 5V for charging.

Low battery indicator: When battery voltage is below 3.2V, the LED light flashes 10 times and short flashes another 10 times before shutdown.

1. Open the cover counterclockwise.
2. Add appropriate amount of water.
3. Tighten the cover clockwise and connect the power supply.
4. Click the button to start humidifier.

Cotton filter replacement

1. Turn the filter housing towards the unlocked padlock symbol. Pull out the filter for replacement.
2. Pay attention to the lower spring when replacing.
   The filter should be replaced every 3-4 months (depending on wear and water quality).
