How do I pair my SoundSticks 4 with a Bluetooth device?

Turn on the SoundSticks Wireless. It will automatically enter pairing mode. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select 'Soundsticks Wireless' from the list. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000. Successful pairing is indicated by the Bluetooth LED illuminating.

Why is there no sound from my SoundSticks 4?

First, ensure the subwoofer is powered (LED should be lit). Check that the power adapter is properly connected. Also, verify the volume is not muted: touch the volume Up (+) pad. Additionally, confirm the audio cable is firmly connected to your device.

How do I mute and unmute the speakers?

Touch both the + and - volume pads simultaneously to mute. To unmute, touch either the + or - pad. The mute function works regardless of the current volume level.

Can I connect both Bluetooth and a wired source at the same time?

Yes. Audio from a paired Bluetooth device mixes with the audio from the connected auxiliary input. To listen to only one source, stop playback on the other device.

Why do the satellites sound dull or lack high frequencies?

The satellites are directional due to the four-element linear array design. Position and tilt them toward your listening area for optimal high-frequency response. Avoid obstructing the front of the speakers.

What should I do if only the subwoofer produces sound?

Check the satellite cable connections to the subwoofer. Ensure the satellite cables are securely plugged into the dual subwoofer cable. If the connection is loose, reinsert firmly.

What is the power requirement for the SoundSticks 4?

The system requires a listed Class 2 power supply delivering 16 V DC at a minimum of 1.5 A. Use only the supplied adapter or an equivalent certified unit.

How do I adjust the subwoofer volume?

Turn the subwoofer volume knob (also the power button) clockwise to increase the subwoofer level relative to the satellites. Rotate counterclockwise to decrease. This knob balances the bass output.

Can I place the subwoofer on a desk or shelf?

Yes, but for best bass performance, place the subwoofer on the floor under your desk. Avoid blocking the ventilation openings and keep it away from heat sources and moisture.

What do I do if the Bluetooth connection drops or fails?

Ensure your Bluetooth device is within range (typically 10 meters). Try unpairing and re-pairing by holding the device close to the speakers. If the issue persists, power cycle the speakers and the source device.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

Step 1. Place individual SoundSticks (satellites) beside monitor/computer. Place subwoofer as desired, but placement under desk provides best performance.	Step 2. Connect satellite cables to the dual subwoofer cable. Also connect the input cable to the subwoofer input cable jack.	Step 3. Insert SoundSticks input cable into the computer or other audio device.	Step 4. Plug power cord into power adapter.

Troubleshooting

Easy Setup Guide

Step 5. Plug power adapter into subwoofer.	Step 6. Plug power cord into wall receptacle.	Step 7. Push the subwoofer volume knob/power ON/OFF button. Unit is on when the LED is lit. Use the subwoofer volume knob to balance the subwoofer's volume with that of the satellites.	Step 8. Turn on Soundsticks Wireless.(Unit will automatically enter pairing mode.) PutBluetooth-enabled device in pairing mode. Select “Soundsticks Wireless” on device's pairing list.Passcode (if required) is0000.When pairing is successful, Soundsticks Wireless’Bluetooth LED will illuminate.	Step 9. Adjust volume level by touching + or – button. Touching both the + and – buttons mutes the audio. When muted, touching either button unmutes the audio.
