How do I descale the machine?

Run the descaling program with a descaling solution. Follow the manual's instructions. You can use a mixture of water and citric acid.
Remember to rinse thoroughly.

What is the water tank capacity?

The water tank holds 0.8 liters of water.

How do I clean the drip tray?

Remove the drip tray and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry before reinserting.

Can I use ground coffee instead of capsules?

No, this machine is designed exclusively for Scishare capsules. Ground coffee will not work.
Please use only original capsules.

What should I do if the coffee is too cold?

Preheat the cup with hot water. Also ensure the machine is fully warmed up (led indicator stable). If issue persists, run a rinse cycle.

How often should I descale the machine?

Descale every 3 months or when the descale alert appears. Water hardness affects frequency.
Use a recommended descaling solution.

Why is my machine leaking water?

Check if the water tank is properly seated. Also ensure the drip tray is empty and not cracked. If leaking persists, contact support.
Do not use the machine if leaking.

Can I brew a larger cup than standard?

This machine has preset cup sizes. You can stop the brewing early by pressing the button again. But larger volumes may cause overflow.
Use a larger mug only if it fits under the spout.

How do I reset the machine to factory settings?

Press and hold the brew button for 10 seconds until the lights flash. Release, and the machine will reset.
This clears customized settings.

Functions

Selecting the volume of coffee with a lever.

The device has 9 positions for regulating cup volume, 8 positions with a fixed cup volume and a position of manual mode. If you choose a fixed volume position, the cup volume will be from 15 to 85 ml, when moving the metal lever from left to right to one position its indicator bar is highlighted, the cup volume is increased by 10 ml. To make a large cup of coffee, move the lever to extreme right position to manual mode ( ) in this mode, maximum cup volume is 180 ml.

Note: Information of cup volume presented below was obtained in laboratory studies performed by Scishare, for the study were used capsules, containing coffee of one of the trademarks; in actual use, volume may differ.

First Using

Preparation for use

1 Set a cup stand

Remove a cup stand from the package, insert a stand into place at an angle of 45^ , fix a stand by moving it down.

② Add water to a water container

Remove a water container, fill it with water, place it, or open the lid of a container and pour clean water into it.

3 Connect the device to a power source

Insert the plug into an outlet with a voltage of 220 - 240V \~

Turn it on and clean it with water

At first use, put the lever on the 6 position, and pass through the coffee machine a cup of water (about 210 ml).

Note: briefly press the power button, the Power/coffee button indicator light will start flashing, approximately in a minute, after the water has been heated, you can use the coffee machine.

Prepare your first cup of coffee

1 Select a stand position according to the cup size, briefly press the Power button, wait for the machine to warm up;
② Open the lid * insert the capsule **, close the lid;

4 Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the device.

During preparation of coffee, all the indicator dashes are gradually extinguished before chosen positions of the lever, after the coffee is finished, the indicator dashes before the selected positions will light up again.

② If you have chosen the manual mode of coffee preparation ( 🔒 ), dash indicators of all positions will glow constantly.

Daily Care

• If you have not used the coffee machine for a long time, after switching on, move the lever to the extreme right position and clean the coffee machine with water.
• The container for used capsules and the cup holder can be washed under water, after washing, wipe them dry with a soft rag.
  • After each coffee preparation, open the lid to drop the used capsule into a container for used capsules.
• In the container for used capsules, can be stored up to 8 capsules, in a timely manner, remove used capsules.
• If you do not use the machine for a long time, disconnect it from the power source and make sure that the capsule compartment is empty.

- Use clean water. The use of tap water or low quality water can lead to a decrease in water outlet volume, blockage, scale formation and shortening of the life of the coffee machine.

Warranty repair rules

• The warranty period of the capsule coffee machine Scishare is 12 months from the date of receipt.
• Return without declaration of cause within 7 days is possible for goods, sold through the official Scishare website and trading platforms - partners. Damage due to the user's fault, damage to the packaging, lack of components that come with the device, use of water and connection to the power supply are not included in the return conditions without a declaration of cause within 7 days. In all cases, except for the return of the product due to poor quality, the transportation costs for the return of the product without declaration of cause are borne by the consumer.
