How do I pair my Monster Flame speaker via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker; it enters Bluetooth mode automatically (blue LED flashes). On your device, select "MONSTER FLAME". If needed, press and hold the Bluetooth button for ~3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The speaker will confirm with an audible "Bluetooth Connected".

Can I use the speaker while it is charging?

Yes, but charging time extends to about 12 hours when powered on. The speaker is IPX5 splash-proof only when disconnected from AC mains and the waterproof cap is closed. Do not use in wet conditions while charging.

How do I use the ambient light?

Press the Light Mode button to turn on the light (reverts to last mode). Cycle through modes: Off, Flicker, Puls, Steady, and Gravity. In Steady mode, press the Timer/Light button to adjust brightness from 0% to 100% in 20% increments. Hold the Light Mode button to turn off.

What is EZ-Play pairing and how does it work?

EZ-Play allows you to wirelessly link up to 8 speakers. First pair your device to the FLAME via Bluetooth. Then hold the EZ-Play button on the FLAME (TX mode) for ~2 seconds. On other EZ-Play speakers, set them to RX mode by pressing the EZ-Play button, then hold for ~2 seconds to search. Repeat for additional units.

How do I use the Zen Music feature?

Hold the Zen Mode button for ~3 seconds to start playing ambient music. Press the Zen Mode button to cycle through tracks: Waves, Nature, Ocean Serenade, Piano Ballad, and Soft Piano. Hold again to exit Zen mode.

What is the battery life?

Battery life depends on usage (volume, light, audio source). The speaker uses six 2200mAh 18650 cells. Full charge takes about 6 hours when off. Expect several hours of playback; exact duration not specified in manual.

Can I connect the speaker to a TV via AUX?

Yes, use the included 3.5mm AUX cord. Plugging into the AUX IN port automatically switches the speaker to AUX mode (green LED solid). Ensure the TV has a headphone or line-out jack.

Why is my speaker not powering on?

Make sure the DC adapter is fully inserted into the DC IN port. Try resetting by turning the speaker off and on. If using battery, ensure it has been charged (red LED double blinks while charging). Contact support if issue persists.

Is the Monster Flame speaker waterproof?

It has an IPX5 rating, meaning it is splash-proof but not waterproof. It can withstand light rain or splashes, but should not be submerged. The AC inlet must be covered with the waterproof cap when used in damp conditions. Do not use while charging in wet areas.

How do I reset the speaker?

Turn the power off and then back on. Alternatively, unplug the DC adapter and plug it back in. This can resolve unresponsive buttons or pairing issues.

1 CONNECT the speaker to an external power source using the included DC power cable.

■ When FULLY charged, the RED LED indicator will stay on.
■ When LOW, the RED LED indicator will flash rapidly. (twice a second)

Full Charge – achieved in 6 hours while powered OFF. – achieved in 12 hours while powered ON.

1 Press the POWER button to turn the speaker ON.

TheRED LED next to the power icon will turn on for 3 seconds.

■ Press and hold the POWER button, 5 seconds, to turn the speaker OFF.

This Monster-branded product, marketed as new, in the original carton to the original purchaser (“Product”), is warranted by Russell Distribution Company, LLC against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a limited warranty period of Ninety (90) Days for Labor and One (1) year for Parts. This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of Product by you, the Purchaser.

This Limited Warranty does not apply to store display products and product sold as a 'marked down' special, in as is condition, 'close outs', "liquidation and clearance sales", "open box", products missing accessories, or no fault found.

Proof of purchase in the form of a Bill of Sale, Receipt or Receipted Invoice is evidence the Product is within the limited warranty period. The Bill of Sale, Receipt or Receipted Invoice must be presented as a pre-condition to obtaining the limited warranty service.

This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase and is valid only on Products purchased through authorized dealers and used in the United States, and Puerto Rico, by the original Purchaser. To receive warranty service, the Purchaser must first contact us for problem determination and service procedures. The original dated bill of sale, receipt or received invoice must be presented upon request as proof of purchase.

We will repair your product or if repairs cannot be made, we will replace it at no charge with the same or similar product. If the Product is defective as specified in this limited warranty during the limited warranty period, we may use new or remanufactured parts to repair the Product. All replaced parts and products become our property and must be returned to us. Replacement parts and products assume the remaining original limited warranty, or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

Product freight must be prepaid by you, the original Purchaser and shipped in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection. We will not be responsible for or obligated to replace damaged Products.

If the Product is received damaged, it is your responsibility as the consumer to file a claim against the carrier. We will only store the damaged Product for 30 days and reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to dispose of the damaged Product or ship it back to you at your expense after 30 days.

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, and except to the extent otherwise expressly provided for in this statement noncommercial use of this Product, and shall not apply to the
