How do I connect the Infinity Touch thermostat to my home Wi-Fi network?

From the main screen, press Menu, then Wireless, enable Wi-Fi, and select Setup a Wi-Fi Connection. Scan for available networks, choose your SSID, enter the security key, and follow the prompts. Once connected, register at www.MyInfinityTouch.Carrier.com for remote access.

Can I control the thermostat remotely?

Yes, after connecting to Wi-Fi and registering on the MyInfinity website, you can use the MyInfinity web portal or mobile app to monitor and adjust settings from anywhere.

How do I set a schedule for my thermostat?

Go to Menu, select Schedules, then choose Guided Schedule or View or Edit Schedule. Guided Scheduling asks simple questions about your daily routine. For custom schedules, you can set up to 4 periods per day (Wake, Home, Away, Sleep) for each day of the week.

What are Comfort Profiles and how do I use them?

Comfort Profiles let you customize temperature, fan, humidity, and fresh air settings for four activities: Home, Away, Sleep, and Wake. Access them via Menu > Comfort Profiles. You can adjust heating/cooling setpoints, fan speed, humidification, and ventilation for each profile.

How do I temporarily override the scheduled temperature?

On the main screen, use the up/down arrows to adjust the temperature. The thermostat will hold the new temperature for a set duration (in 15-minute increments) or until the next scheduled period. You can also select Hold Until to specify an end time.

How can I view my energy usage?

Go to Menu > Energy Tracking. You can view estimated daily, monthly, or annual energy consumption in kWh or therms, and see costs if you enter your utility rates. Note: Energy tracking is only available with compatible Infinity systems.

How do I change the temperature units from Fahrenheit to Celsius?

From the main screen, press Menu > Display > Temperature Units. Select °F or °C and press Save. Half-degree resolution is used for Celsius.

What should I do if the touch screen is not responding accurately?

You can recalibrate the touch screen by going to Menu > Display > Touch Screen Calibration. Follow the on-screen prompts to press near the arrow tips using a stylus or ballpoint pen.

How do I upload a personal photo as a screen saver?

Use the MyInfinity Desktop application on your computer to export a photo to a USB drive. Then, insert the USB into the thermostat’s USB port and select Photo Upload from the Menu > Service menu. The photo will automatically load.

How do I set vacation mode?

Go to Menu > Vacation. Select Plan Vacation, then set the start and end dates/times, and choose the temperature range (heat-to and cool-to). The system will maintain those settings until you return. Note: Vacation duration must be at least one day.

InformationDisplayed

The information displayed on the homescreen will appear when there has been no interaction with the Infinity Touch Control for at least two minutes. The basic information displayed on the Home Screen consists of the current date and time, the room temperature (zonetemperature if applicable), the outdoor temperature (if applicable), and current weather condition (Wi-Fi ^ model only, when properly configured). Connectivity status to the home Wi -- Finetwork and the My Infinity Server will also be displayed on the Home Screen for compatible Wi -- Fi units (SYSTXCCITW01 -- A and SYSTXCCITC01 -- A). Note: You must have Wi -- Fi enabled for the indicator to appear.

If you have uploaded a phototo the control (see Pg. 41), it will be displayed until you touch the display. You will then be taken to the HomeScreen.

• Onceinthemainscreen,
• To access your system model to touch the MODE label allocated in the upper right of the control.
• Thedrop--downmenuwillallowyoutochoosebetweenAUTO,HEAT, COOL,FANONLYandOFF,dependingontheequipmentinstalledin yoursystem.
• If OFF is selected your system will not control temperatures, humidity, or fan.
• If AUTOisselected, the Infinity Touch Control automatically switches between heating and cooling to maintain your comfort during transitional seasons.

• Touch the DAY and TIME label located at the top middle of the screen or access by going through themuscreen (seePg.32).

TheFeaturesfunctionofInfinityTouchControlallowsyoutoadjustthefanspeed duringcontinuousfanoperation.

• Touch FEATURES on the top left of the screen.
  • A drop down menu will appear. Touch FAN selection.
• Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to set the fan to AUTO, LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH, then touch SAVE. In zoned systems, the activity settingswillapplytotheselectedzoneonly.
• Forzonedsystems, theselectedfanspeedwillapplytothezonecurrently displayed in the HOME and MAIN.

ViewCurrentHumidityLevel

The Features function of Infinity Touch Control allows you to view the current humidity level within the conditioned space.

• Enterthemainscreenbytouchinganywhereonthecontrol.
• Touch FEATURES on the top left of the screen.
• Inthedropdownmenuyouwillseeyourmeasuredhumiditylevels withintheconditionedspace.

Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to change the fan settings, heating and cooling temperatures. When you are done, press the DONE button on the bottom right.

The AWAY profile provides an extra feature called Advanced Smart Setback. It allows the Infinity® System to dynamically determinetheawaytemperatureautomaticallytosavethemost amountofmoney,yetreachyourcomfortsettingswhenyoureturn home.AdvancedSmartSetbackmaycontrolthetemperaturesomewhereinbetweentheAwaytemperaturelimits.Thisisnormaland isintendedtopreventexcessiveenergyuse.

Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to change the fan settings and temperaturesettings. The temperaturesettings are therangein which you choose to keep your home conditioned while you are away. The Advanced Smart Setback function will maintain your temperature within this range.

- Set your desired humidity and fresh air (if applicable) using the HUMIDITYANDFRESHAIRPROFILESforeachactivity.

The AUTO setting will allow the user to choose the maximum fresh air that the ventilator will provide. Selections are Low, Medium or High. In Auto, the ventilator will run continuously, unless the outdoor temperature approaches 0 For 100 F. Atthosetemperatures, it will turn off.
The MANUAL setting allows you to select the percentage of fresh airtosupplyyourhome.IntheMANUALmode,thereareseveral selectionsavailable:Off,Low25%,Low50%,Low75%,Low100%,Medium,andHigh.Thepercentvaluesarepercentofan hour.

• The temperature setpoint will be automatically adjusted depending on the utility event setup. The adjusted heating and cooling temperatures will be displayed in green on them, screen along with a "utility event" message.
• Autilityeventiconwillappearonthehomescreen.Pressingtheiconor manuallyadjustingtheheatingandcoolingsetpointswilldisplaythe

typeofevent, the adjustment to the heating and cooling set points, the timethe event willend, an accept button, and an override button.

• Pressing the accept button will accept the adjustments made to the heating and cooling set points.
• Pressingtheoverridebuttonwillchangetheheatingandcoolingset pointsbacktotheiroriginalvaluespriortotheevent.

PriceResponse

Priceresponsedetermineshowtheheatingandcoolingsetpointswillbeadjusted duringapricingeventwithtwochoices--offsetsorabsolutetemperature. When offsetsareselected,theheatingandcoolingsetpointsareadjustedbythenumberof degreesselected.Whenabsolutetemperatureisselected,theheatingandcooling setpointsareadjustedtoheatingandcoolingtemperatures.

PriceSettings

When the electric rate from the utility company meets exceed the "ELECTRICAL RATE", the heating and cooling set points will be adjusted according to the absolute temperature or offset shown here. If these point at the time of the event is more favorable (uses less energy) than what you have programmed, the Infinity Touch Control Thermostat will use them more favorable set point for the duration of the event. Unless otherwise indicated, all settings temperatures will be shown in Fahrenheit degrees.
