How do I use the can opener?

Attach the blade bracket by aligning tabs with slots and turning to lock. Lift the bracket, place the can rim under the locating post (the magnet holds the lid), then press down the bracket so the blade is inside the rim. The can opener will automatically rotate and cut. When finished, it stops automatically. Lift the bracket to remove the can.
Caution: Avoid sharp edges.

Can I open cans with pull tabs using this opener?

No. This can opener is designed for standard cans with a rim. Do not use it on cans with pull tabs, peel-off foil seals, rolling keys, rimless cans, or cans with angled corners.

What types of cans are compatible?

It works with round steel or aluminum cans with a diameter between 50mm and 100mm, a maximum height of 178mm, and a maximum weight of 0.6kg (600g). For heavier cans (over 510g), you may need to hold the opener to prevent tipping.

How do I clean the can opener?

Always unplug before cleaning. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and dry. Wash the blade bracket and accessories in hot soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.Do not immerse the main unit in water or put parts in the dishwasher.

How do I sharpen knives using the knife sharpener?

Unplug the unit. Insert the knife blade into the slot at the back of the opener. Pull the knife back and forth through the slot until the desired sharpness is achieved. Clean and dry the knife before and after. Do not try to sharpen serrated blades or scissors.

How do I open bottles with this device?

Unplug the opener. Place the metal bottle cap under the hook part on the front of the opener (not under the neck to avoid breaking glass). Hold the opener with one hand and pull down on the bottle to pop the cap off. Only for metal caps, not screw-off or pull-tab types.

What should I do if the can opener stalls during operation?

The opener may stall on cans with heavy seams, uneven rims, or odd shapes. Turn the can slightly by hand to help the cutting action. If a dent is present, start cutting just beyond the dent or open the other end.

Is it safe to immerse the can opener in water?

No. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. It is double insulated but not waterproof. Clean only with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

HOW TO USE

Attach blade bracket to the can opener. Make the key tabs align with the key slots, then turn the bracket to lock it into place. (see illustration below)

Lift the blade bracket, tip the can so that its rim is under the locating post, the lid of the can will be attracted by the magnet, then press down the right side of blade bracket, making sure the blade is inside the rim (see illustration below), drive wheel will actuate the can to rotate and the blade will cut the can open. Because of the hands-free feature, it is not necessary to hold blade bracket down or support the can during cutting. However, you may have to hold the housing of can opener when cutting very tall or heavy cans.

When the can is opened, the can opener will stop automatically, to remove the can, hold it with one hand and raise the blade bracket with the other.

Caution: Avoid contacting with the cut edges of the can or lids as they are sharp. Carefully remove the lid from the magnet and discard.

Note: The time of opening cans continuously should not exceed 5 times without a rest periods of 15 seconds between every 5 cans. This is to allow the motor to cool sufficiently.

You may feed excess cord into the back of the unit and feed the cord through the notch for convenient storage.

HOW TO USE

CAN OPENING TIPS

1. This can opener should not be used to open cans designed to be opened by another method, such as a pull tab, peel-off foil seal, or rolling key. This can opener will not open rimless cans or cans with angled corners.
2. If there is a dent in the rim of a can, open the other end or start the cutting action just beyond the dent. Cans with heavy seams, uneven rims or odd shapes may cause the can opener to stall. If this occurs, turn the can slightly by hand to aid the cutting action.
3. Frozen juices or foods in cardboard cans should be opened as soon as they are removed from the freezer. Aluminum lids will not stick to the magnet.

TO OPEN BOTTLES or SHARPEN KNIVES

Unplug the power supply

To open a bottle, grasp it and position the cap under the metal hook part in the bottle opener [see illustration].

BOTTLES

Important: Be sure the metal hook part is not under the bottle neck, or the glass may break. Hold the can opener with one hand and pull down to pop the cap off with the other one. The bottle opener at the front of the unit will only remove metal bottle caps. Do not use it for screw-off caps, punch in tabs, or on cans with pull ring.

Knife Sharpening

Unplug the power supply, and then place the knife which is intended to be sharpened in the slot of knife sharpener at the back of the unit. For best results, sharpen the entire length carefully pulling the knife through the slot back and forth (see illustration above), until you achieve desired sharpness. After sharpening, wash and dry the knife.

Note: Use caution with knife after sharpening.

KNIFE SHARPENING TIPS

1. Clean and dry knives before sharpening.
2. Do not attempt to sharpen serrated blades, as this will smooth their edges.
3. Do not attempt to sharpen scissors.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• If the weight of the can is over 510g, it is necessary to press and hold the can opener to avoid overturning.

CLEANING

COMPLETELY CLEAN AND DRY ALL PARTS AFTER EVERY USE. PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CARE WHEN HANDLING SHARP PARTS

Always turn the appliance "OFF" and remove the plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning it.

Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and dry with another cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Wash the accessories and blades in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry.
