Frequently Asked Questions - CCG2 Burr DUALIT

How do I clean the Dualit CCG2 Burr coffee grinder?
Unplug the grinder and remove the hopper and grounds container. Use the included cleaning brush to remove coffee residue from the burrs and chamber. The burr can be removed for thorough cleaning. Do not immerse the base in water.
What grind sizes can I achieve with the CCG2 Burr?
The grinder offers a wide range from fine espresso to coarse French press with 30+ stepless settings.
How do I adjust the grind setting?
Rotate the external adjustment ring while the grinder is empty. Turn counterclockwise for finer grind, clockwise for coarser. Do not adjust while grinding.
Why is my CCG2 Burr not turning on?
Check the power connection and ensure the hopper and container are properly seated. The safety interlock may prevent operation if parts are misaligned. Also confirm the overload protection hasn't tripped.
Can I grind spices or nuts in this grinder?
No, it is designed only for coffee beans. Grinding other substances may damage the burrs and void warranty.
How do I replace the burrs?
Contact Dualit or an authorized service center. Burrs are wear parts and should be replaced after grinding approximately 500 kg of coffee. Use only genuine Dualit replacement burrs.
What is the maximum bean capacity?
The hopper holds up to 250 g of coffee beans (approximately 30 cups). Do not overfill.
Is the CCG2 Burr suitable for espresso grinding?
Yes, it can produce a fine consistent grind suitable for espresso machines. Adjust to finest settings and test for optimal extraction.
How to reduce static cling in the grounds container?
Static is common in dry environments. Use a spritz of water on beans before grinding, or wait a few minutes after grinding before opening the container.
How should I store the grinder when not in use?
Keep it in a dry place away from moisture. Clean thoroughly before storage. Leave the hopper empty and the burr adjustment ring set to a coarser setting.
