Avoid cutting directly on sink surface: this will cause irreparable scratches. Damages can be minimized by making sure objects do not rub against the surface. Always use a cutting board.

For everyday maintenance after use of the sink, rinse throughly and wipe with clean soft clothso to inhibit water spotting, hard stain and mineral deposits in severe hard water conditions. Clean water is enough for daily maintenance, possiblywith the addition of mild detergent.

Cut out in the worktop according to the sizes of the Kernau.

Clean the worktop-bottom and the top edge of the sink with Aceton. Then apply a bead of silicone adhesive sealant to the brim of the bowl and place the bowl on/under the countertop.

When spots of rust are found on the sink's surface, this is the result of foreign iron particles (from renovation works - example: drill dust) rusting on it. These rusty marks come from the drill dust due to moisture in the air.

Solution: delete the iron particles and wet the sink, apply CIF and then polish the rusty spots away using a soft cloth.
