Frequently Asked Questions - ECD25 TIMER N'oveen

How do I clean the lint filter of my N'oveen ECD25 TIMER tumble dryer?
The lint filter is located behind the door. Open the door, pull the filter upward, remove the lint by hand or with a soft brush, and rinse under running water if needed. Dry thoroughly before reinserting. Clean after every use for optimal performance.
What is the maximum drying capacity of the ECD25 TIMER?
The maximum drying capacity is 2.5 kg (dry laundry weight). Do not overload to ensure efficient drying and avoid damage to the appliance.
How do I set the timer on my N'oveen ECD25 TIMER dryer?
Turn the timer dial clockwise to the desired drying time (up to 120 minutes). Select the heat setting (low or high) using the separate switch. The dryer starts automatically when the door is closed and the timer is set.
Why is my dryer not heating?
Common causes: timer not set, heat setting on 'cool', or overheating protection tripped. Check that the timer is set to a drying cycle and the heat switch is on low or high. If overheating, clean the lint filter and ensure proper ventilation.
Can I install the ECD25 TIMER as a ventless dryer?
No, this model is air-vented. It requires connection to a vent hose that expels moist air outside. Do not use indoors without proper ventilation to avoid moisture damage.
How often should I clean the condenser (if applicable)?
The ECD25 TIMER does not have a condenser; it is a vented dryer. There is no condenser to clean. Only the lint filter needs regular cleaning.
What should I do if the dryer stops mid-cycle?
Check if the timer has run down (cycle complete). Also, verify power supply, door closure, and if the overload protection has tripped. Wait a few minutes for the dryer to cool down and restart. If the problem persists, consult a technician.
Is the door reversible on the N'oveen ECD25 TIMER?
Yes, the door is reversible. To change the opening direction, refer to the instruction manual for step-by-step instructions. It involves unscrewing hinges and moving the door catch to the opposite side.
What do the different heat settings mean?
The dryer has two heat settings: 'low' for delicate fabrics (synthetics, mixed loads) and 'high' for cottons and heavy items. Use the timer to control drying duration.
Where can I find spare parts for the ECD25 TIMER?
Spare parts such as lint filters, door seals, and timer knobs can be ordered from N'oveen's official website or authorized dealers. Use the model number ECD25 TIMER for accurate parts.
