SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. Follow safety instructions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. Keep the manual, receipt and packaging in a safe place for future reference. If you pass on the appliance, share these instructions and packaging.   1. Read all instructions before using the Electric Foot Warmer.
  2. Before turning on the Foot Warmer ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the product.
  3. Do not use if the product is folded or rumpled.
  4. To protect against fire and electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or controller in water or any other liquid. Never switch on the Foot Warmer if it is moist or wet. Allow the Foot Warmer to dry completely before using it. Keep the controller away from open windows.
  5. Do not use the Foot Warmer with an extension cord.
  6. Do not pull or carry the Foot Warmer by its power cord. Do not pull the cord around sharp edges or corners.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • Unpack the product but keep all packaging materials until you have made sure your new Foot Warmer is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
  • We recommend you keep the original packaging for storing the Foot Warmer when it is not in use.
  • Read this manual to familiarise yourself with the product and usage instructions.

CAUTION: The Foot Warmer, controller, cord, and plug must be checked regularly for damage. Do not use the product if these parts are damaged. In case of damage, contact our after-sales support line for advice.

CAUTION: This product is not suitable for children under 3 years old as they may not be able to respond to overheating.

The ON/OFF button is easy to use. Plug the power cord into a power outlet and switch ON. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the Foot Warmer ON. The temperature setting 1 indicator light will illuminate first to show the Foot Warmer is on. To turn the Foot Warmer OFF, press the ON/OFF button and unplug the Foot Warmer from the power outlet.

NOTE: The Foot Warmer will automatically turn OFF after a 90-minute period. To resume use, press the ON/OFF button again and it will switch back ON at the last temperature setting set.

The controller has 4 temperature settings, ranging from 1 (lowest) to 4 (highest). Press the TEMP setting button to adjust the Foot Warmer to your desired temperature. The button cycles through the 4 temperature settings while the indicator light shows the current setting.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Plug the power cord into a power outlet and switch ON. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the Foot Warmer ON. The temperature setting 1 indicator light will illuminate to show the Foot Warmer is on.
  2. Press the TEMP setting button to cycle through the 4 temperature settings. As you cycle through the 4 temperature settings, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  3. To use the Foot Warmer, ensure you are sitting down, then slide your feet in one at a time.

CAUTION: Do not use the Foot Warmer when standing up or attempt to walk around with the Foot Warmer still on and in use.

  1. When you have finished using the Foot Warmer, press the ON/OFF button again to turn OFF and unplug at the power outlet.

WARNING: Do not rely on your hands to test the temperature of the Foot Warmer, as they are less sensitive towards heat than the rest of the body's surface.
WARNING: The Foot Warmer must no longer be used after a fault has occurred. This is because the safe operation of the appliance can no longer be guaranteed.

NOTE: When using the Foot Warmer for the first time you may notice an unusual odour. This is harmless and will subside quickly.

NOTE: When the Foot Warmer is in operation, the controller may warm up slightly. This is normal and not a reason for concern.

CLEANING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the Foot Warmer

This Foot Warmer has a removable inner lining and outer body that has waterproof heating elements, making it safe for hand or machine washing. Always ensure you detach the controller before exposing the Foot Warmer to water. To remove the controller, pull the connector firmly out of the socket, as illustrated on the image on the right (Fig.1).

Before cleaning the Foot Warmer, we recommend to remove the inner lining from the outer body by simply pulling the inner lining up and out. Follow the instructions below for how to clean the Foot Warmer. Ensure to clean the inner lining and outer body separately.

IMPORTANT:

  • Do not have the Foot Warmer chemically dry-cleaned.
  • Do not bleach the Foot Warmer; do not iron it and do not dry it in a tumble dryer.
    • Always remove the controller before washing the Foot Warmer.
  • Both the inner lining and outer body are machine washable at 30°C. It is recommended to regularly wash the inner liner.

Spot Cleaning

  • Turn the Foot Warmer OFF by pressing the ON/OFF button. Turn the power off at the power outlet, then remove the plug.
  • Remove stains on the Foot Warmer with a damp sponge, moistened with a mild detergent solution. Follow this with sponging using clean water.

- Remove any excess water by patting it with a dry cloth or compressing the wet area between absorbent towels.

Handwashing

  • Turn the Foot Warmer OFF by pressing the ON/OFF button. Turn the power off at the power outlet, then remove the plug.
  • Detach the controller, as illustrated in Fig. 1 page before. Do not let the controller come into contact with water.
  • Immerse the Foot Warmer in lukewarm water with a mild detergent suitable for fine fabrics and allow the Foot Warmer to soak for 5 minutes. Gently squeeze the solution through the Foot Warmer. Rinse well in clean, lukewarm water. Gently squeeze and drain the excess water from the Foot Warmer. Do not wring out the Foot Warmer, as this may damage the wiring. Press the water out of the Foot Warmer using a flat hand.
  • Dry the Foot Warmer as described in the drying instructions on the next page.

Machine-washing

  • Turn the Foot Warmer off by pressing the ON/OFF button. Turn the power off at the power outlet, then remove the plug.
  • Detach the controller, as illustrated in Fig. 1 page before. Do not let the controller come into contact with water.
  • If the Foot Warmer fits into your washer, wash it on the "Wool" or "Delicates" cycle with a mild detergent solution up to maximum temperature of 30°C.
  • Dry the Foot Warmer as described on the next page.

CAUTION: NEVER use a spin cycle when using a washing machine.

CAUTION: NEVER dry the Foot Warmer in a tumble dryer.

CAUTION: NEVER spin dry in a washing machine. Flat dry only.

Do not wring.

Drying

• Make sure the controller is fully detached from the wet Foot Warmer
- Dry the wet Foot Warmer naturally on a flat surface in the shade.
- Do not use pegs to secure the Foot Warmer in position.
- Do not dry the Foot Warmer with a hair dryer, heater or any other heat source.
- Ensure the Foot Warmer is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and using the Foot Warmer. Do not turn the Foot Warmer on when it is still wet in order to dry it faster.
- Do not iron the Foot Warmer.

CAUTION: If the controller has not been removed before cleaning the Foot Warmer (e.g. for spot cleaning), make sure that no water can drip onto the controller while the Foot Warmer is drying.

CAUTION: NEVER use the Foot Warmer before it has fully dried. This is extremely dangerous.

Storage

  • Make sure the Foot Warmer is entirely dry and has cooled down completely before storage.
  • Store it in the original packaging without any sharp folds.
  • Store the Foot Warmer indoors in a dry and clean place, preferably in its original packaging.
  • Do not place any objects on top of the Foot Warmer as this could damage the wiring.
  • Do not store the appliance near sinks, baths or showers containing water or near running water.
