● Prepare the fuel from lead-free gasoline mixed with 2-cycle engine oil available on the market at a rate of 25:1.
● Pour fuel into the fuel tank. Always stop the engine while refueling.
(4) Dilution of Chemicals
You might find a dent at the center of the back side of the inside strainer, this dent can be used as a 10 cc level measuring cup, for diluting chemicals.
(5) The strainer is made of double mesh, which can remove even small particles of dust. Always fill the chemical tank through the double mesh strainer so that contaminants are not mixed into the chemicals.
(6) Each graduation on the chemical tank indicates 5, 10, 15 and 20 liters.
(7) Open the cock to vent air. Check that chemical flows out of the nozzle, then close the lever cock.
(8) When you mix the chemicals in the tank, first pour water into the tank, then put in the chemicals. Dissolve water dispersible powder in a separate container, before filling
[Warning] ● Wettable agents might cause wear to the machine.
3-3 Starting Arranque
When starting the engine, always fill the chemical tank with water or chemical solution.
[Warning] ● If the engine does not start in spite of repeated operation, open the choke lever fully, then pull the cord to start the engine.
(4) Pay attention to the oil level in the fuel tank, and refuel when the oil level becomes low. Preste atención al nivel de aceite en el
(5) When the engine is operated continuously at a low or medium speed for a long time, carbon deposits easily on the engine, therefore perform occasionally high speed operation.
(A) Discharge the remaining liquid from the chemical tank to a place where it will not harm people, animals, or farm products.
(B) Pour clean water into the chemical tank, run the engine and spray from the nozzle to clean the interior of the pump and hose. Extract residual liquid from the drain.
[Warning] ● When there is a danger of freezing: remove the drain cap of the chemical tank, discharge water from the tank, then remove the spray nozzle, run the engine at a low speed and discharge water in the pump and spray nozzle. When no more water comes out of the spray hose, stop the engine immediately. (The pump might be damaged due to freezing.)
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect the hose for swelling, cracks, and breakages, and replace according to the extent of the damage.
The idling rotational frequency of the engine is adjusted at the time of delivery, however, if any abnormalities are found, adjust in the following order.
Turn the idle screw to left (anticlockwise) → rpm decreases.

Line drawing of a hand using a screwdriver to adjust or install a mechanical component (no text or symbols visible)- The correct gap for the spark plug terminal is 0.6 to 0.7 mm (about three times the thickness of a postcard). If the gap is too large, or too small, it should be adjusted. If carbon is deposited on the terminal, clean it off with a wire brush.
- If the central or outside electrode is burned and worn to a round shape, replace the plug. (NGK BPM6Y (BPM6A may be used.))
- Inspect the spark plug every 25 hrs of operation.
- If the passage of cooling air, spaces of cylinder fin, etc., are clogged with contaminants, engine cooling is insufficient, and can cause overheating.
Always inspect before starting by removing the top cover, which can be removed by loosening the knob bolt at the top. (The knob bolt can be tightened by hand, however, use a coin to tighten it securely.) Si el pasaje del aire de enfriamiento, espacios de aleta de cilindro, etc., se obstruyen con contaminantes, el enfriamiento del motor es insuficiente, y puede causar sobrecalentamiento.

Tubo de escape
When carbon deposits in the muffler, the output of the engine will drop. Especially when carbon deposits in the tail pipe, the engine output will drop significantly. Clean the interior of the muffler by removing the top cover and the cover of the muffler. Take care so that no carbon enters the cylinder during this work.

If the fuel filter is clogged, starting or acceleration may be abnormal.
Take out the filter periodically, remove the contaminants and wash with gasoline.
When heavily contaminated, replace the filter with a new one.
When there are contaminants in the fuel tank, the filter is apt to be clogged, therefore, clean it with gasoline. Inspect the filter every 25 hrs.
Take the following procedure when the equipment is not to be used for a long period (during the off-season).
(2) If the equipment is to be stored for a long period with fuel remaining in the tank and carburetor, the fuel will deteriorate and the engine will not start, therefore, drain the fuel completely, whenever the engine is left unused for one week or more.
First close the fuel cock, and drain off fuel in the tank, then open the fuel cock, and drain off fuel in the carburetor by pressing the one-touch drain lever at the bottom of the carburetor.
