How do I use the Eldom ON10 knife sharpener?

What types of knives can I sharpen with the ON10?

The sharpener is designed for standard steel knives. Do not use it on serrated blades, scissors, or ceramic knives.

What is the difference between the two sharpening slots?

The first slot (diamond discs, 360 grit) is for coarse sharpening – restoring the edge. The second slot (ceramic discs, 1200 grit) is for fine honing and smoothing the blade.

How should I clean the knife sharpener?

Clean the outer cover with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse the device in water or place it in a dishwasher, as this may damage the sharpening discs.

Can I use the sharpener for serrated or scalloped knives?

No, the sharpener is not suitable for serrated or scalloped blades. It may damage both the knife and the sharpening discs.

How do I attach the sharpener to the countertop?

Lift the lever (3) to release the suction pad, place the sharpener on a clean, smooth surface, press down, then push the lever back down to create suction. Ensure the surface is dry and free of debris.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1. Diamond discs
2. Ceramic discs
3. Lever
4. Suction pad

USE

Place the knife sharpener on a flat and smooth surface.

Lift the lever (3) and then, pushing the device, loose it to immobilize the knife sharpener.

Do not sharpen when the device is not properly assembled.

The knife sharpener is equipped with two types of discs:

- diamond discs (1) with 'a gradation of 360,' designed to blunt knives (2)

- ceramic discs (2) with a gradation of 1200, designed for smoothing the knife surface.

To sharpen or smooth the knife, move it several times through a selected hole.

NOTE

Do not sharpen knives with tooth and scissors.

To prevent damage of the knife, it should be sharpened gently.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Do not clean with sharp, abrasive cloths or sponges, because it can destroy the device.

Do not immerse the device in water or wash in the dishwasher

Clean the cover with a damp cloth.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

The device is made of materials that may be recycled.
