Frequently Asked Questions - TVWM5880BK NEDIS

How do I pair the remote control with the control box?
First, power on the mount. Press the small button on the control box with a thin tool until you hear a beep. Then press the button on the remote control. The control box will beep repeatedly for about 10 seconds. Pairing is complete when the beeping stops.
What should I do if the TV mount stops moving and emits a long beep?
This indicates a possible obstruction. Check for any foreign objects blocking the movement and remove them. If the issue persists, the TV weight may exceed the maximum capacity, or the motor wire may be broken. Try resetting the mount (disconnect power, wait 10 seconds, reconnect, then press and hold the reset button). Contact support if the problem continues.
How do I set memory positions for the TV mount?
Use the remote control. Long press the button (for position 1) or button (for position 2) for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. The current height is saved. To recall, short press the corresponding button.
How do I reset the TV mount to its default settings?
Disconnect the power cord from the mount. Wait 10 seconds, then reconnect. Press and hold the button on the remote for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The mount will move to the highest position and emit double beeps, indicating a successful reset.
What VESA patterns does the Nedis TVWM5880BK support?
The mount supports VESA patterns: 200x100, 200x200, 300x200, 400x200, 300x300, 400x300, 400x400, and 600x400 mm. Ensure your TV's VESA pattern is within this range.
Can I use this mount with a curved TV?
The mount is designed for flat-screen TVs. Using it with curved TVs may not provide proper support. Check the TV's VESA compatibility and weight; if it meets specifications, it may work, but we recommend a dedicated curved TV mount.
How do I connect the mount to the Tuya smart app?
Short press the button on the remote five times. You will hear two beeps at the fifth press, indicating the mount is disconnecting from the current paired device. Then follow the Tuya app installation guide to connect the mount to your smartphone.
What type of batteries does the remote control use?
The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Insert them into the battery compartment with proper polarity.
Is the wall mount suitable for brick walls?
Yes, it can be mounted on brick walls using appropriate anchors (included). Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the TV weight. Follow the installation instructions for proper anchoring.
How should I clean the TV mount?
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surfaces. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the mount or electrical components.
